- DSDanielle SchmalMay 6, 20261.0Happy Nurses Week! Just a heads up to fellow nurses — I had a disappointing experience at a Dunkin location today. I called ahead while in the parking lot to confirm their Nurses Week free coffee promotion and was told that while they weren’t “officially” participating, they would still honor the discount if I mentioned I was a nurse when i visited. After ordering, I got to the window, stated I was a nurse and offered to show my badge, and was immediately shut down with a blunt “we don’t do that” — no explanation or courtesy. This was frustrating, especially since I had just called minutes prior to confirm. Not wanting to make any form of scene, I paid anyway, but the interaction ended with a condescending “bye, girlie,” which felt disrespectful and unprofessional. It’s a small gesture, but recognition during Nurses Week goes a long way. Really disappointed, especially given the location’s close proximity to the hospital.

The response that i got was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE.Some people need to work on there attitude towards customers.That lady needs to get fired and has to work on her customer service!! The line moved quick, the staff was nice, and they didn’t mess up my order (which happens a lot at other places). My drink tasted right and the food was fresh. Nothing crazy, just solid service and no complaints.
