The bigger disappointment was the experience. You walk in and are greeted not by people, but by kiosks. The only real human interaction we had was someone shouting our order number. The kiosk even asks for a tip — apparently for the privilege of placing our own order and then listening for our number to be yelled across the room. And the payment screen is positioned so awkwardly you practically have to kneel to read the instructions. I wasn’t sure if I was paying for lunch or preparing for prayer. This isn’t modernization. It’s self-service disguised as hospitality. Five Guys today feels more like “Two Guys and Two Kiosks.” Lower quality, higher prices, less service — an impressive trick...... They replaced human hospitality with machines, then ask for a tip !!! At that point, we realized we weren’t in a restaurant anymore, we were using a burger vending system, and wat burger 🤮 We won’t be back.

Why does Five Guys have peanuts for free?
Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
