    I was here the other day for breakfast. When I walked in, Kirston greeted me with a smile and wished me a Good Morning. 🌞 I told her I had a request to have my coffee made strongly, as last time I was there it tasted like water. And she said, I got you! With a big smile on her face. I left there in a great mood for being treated so well. 😊 She did not make me feel like I was a burden and went above and beyond to help me! I went to tell the manager how great she was and I found out she was one of the Managers. I was recently affected by the tornadoes and I am forever grateful that she treated me so well and had me leaving with a smile! I recommend going there!

    I’m done coming here if you cannot do your job you should not be working here and getting smart with customers is not good either!!! I went there for breakfast and first of all the eggs are different for The biscuit sandwich and the muffin sandwich so subbing without asking the customer messes up the entire sandwich, but people that ring up probably don’t know the menu obviously !!! I had a free hash brown with a McMuffin so I got a McMuffin with bacon. She rang it up as a biscuit, sub bacon, and the coupon didn’t work. Before I realized that I said don’t worry about it once I pointed out to her instead Of her, doing her job and offering to fix it her response to me was “ You told me to forget about it “ she knew she messed up and I pointed it out!!! now I went to use a dollar Coke coupon and once again for some reason, they said we couldn’t use it. I’m so fed up with it. How hard is it to ring up a Coke !?! I fries are freezing cold too! a month ago. This place was awesome. I don’t know what happened in that time but I’m done I’d rather drive to 61st.

    My 17 year old son went to the McDonald's store last night when the sirens were going off. He sat in the store for about 20 min. While the storm is still going, a team member came out and said we are closing early and everyone in the lobby needs to leave before the 2nd round of storms. The 2nd round of sirens were already going off all around Merrillville. When he left, he couldn't see d/t the amount of rain and wind. He had his hazards on and was trying to make it to another safe shelter since he was kicked out this one. He finally made it home. Shame on the manager for closing early and making everyone who found shelter leave their safety. They turned a family away from shelter at the same time they were kicking everyone out. My son had nowhere to go. Our town still had sirens going. How dare your manager put people in harms way because they wanted to leave early. Shame on them. Everyone was safe there until they were made to leave. Ignoranance!!

    Unprofessional and rude! I was giving a friend a ride and they wouldn't allow me to order one item separately! So, I'll be going out of my way to not order at this location anymore. Bye!

    If I could give this place a zero I would based off my experience tonight! First I pull up to the pick up window and they don’t know my order, they proceed to give me a Oreo McFlurry that I ordered and a cold fry I told them I would like fresh fries so the pulled me forward nobody came out and I was think maybe I should pull back around because I also had 4 ice cream cones so I’m like I know that can’t bring out 4 cones and my food. So I waited in line then I got back to the window Corey(the manager) proceeds to say they were looking for me so they will have to remake my order! At this point I ask him can I get a McFlurry for the wait he said his general manager wouldn’t allow it, I asked him why wouldn’t your general manager allow you to satisfy a customer for your inconvenience he proceeded to say he had a lot going on and he couldn’t do it! I was waiting on fast food for nearly an hour with my hungry children in the car and my sister and her kid! That was so distasteful. The customer should always be accommodated no matter the circumstance I’m so upset at that. Save your self the head ache and try a different McDonalds
