I really like Jimmy John's sandwiches. They're always fresh, and very tasty. Unfortunately, this review is not all about the food. This one also goes to the service, the discrepancy between the advertised pricing and what I was charged, and the attitude I got when I stood up for myself and pointed this out. The price advertised on their own menu above the order/cashier station was one price; I was charged $1.10 ($1.17 with tax) MORE than the advertised price. When I pointed this out, I was told, "I don't think those have been updated, yet." That is NOT the customer's (my, this time) problem. If an item is advertised with one price, that's the price that must be charged, not what amounts to a hidden price. Then, the cashier, who I assume is the shift supervisor/manager, scowled at me, stopped speaking, and handed me a dollar, not even the correct overcharge. As I said, I like Jimmy John's. I will, however, not ever be going back to this one.
For a dependably satisfying lunch in Lafayette, Jimmy John's delivers. My recent visit featured their Italian Night sandwich, which arrived incredibly fast, demonstrating the store's renowned efficiency. The sandwich itself was a testament to their consistent quality – fresh ingredients and a well-balanced flavor profile that always hits the spot.
The atmosphere here is a functional 7/10, perfect for a quick and casual bite without fuss, while the service operates like a well-oiled machine, ensuring your order is accurate and swift (a solid 8/10). It's the kind of reliable spot where you know exactly what you're getting, and it never disappoints.
I absolutely will be back for another quick and tasty meal. Pro-Tip: Parking is easy, making your grab-and-go experience seamless, and there's typically no wait, so you're in and out in a flash.
