  We went to take pictures there for my daughter's birthday and toured this beautiful place. We didn't eat there but I heard they have good food. The workers were very polite.

  DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR PROM My daughter and her group of seven made a reservation for prom dinner on May 2nd. While we have dined here previously and found the mansion and grounds to be beautiful, the food has consistently been overpriced and underwhelming. The group arrived an hour early to take photos, expecting to have access to the grounds. However, they were informed upon arrival that approximately three-quarters of the property was off-limits for prom pictures. As a result, a large number of groups were crowded into a very limited space, making the experience stressful and far from what was anticipated. Additionally, when they were seated for dinner, they were told that the restaurant does not allow split checks and that the entire bill must be paid on a single card. This policy was not communicated at the time of booking and should have been clearly disclosed in advance. Fortunately, my daughter is an authorized user on our account and was able to cover the expense for the group. However, it is unreasonable to expect most high school students to be able to pay a bill exceeding $500 on their own. Overall, due to poor communication, limited accommodations for prom guests, and a lack of transparency regarding policies, I would not recommend this venue for special occasions such as prom.

  I was honestly really disappointed with how my friend and I were treated at RH Indianapolis during our prom dinner. We made reservations a week in advance and were excited to celebrate there with our families. The second we arrived, before even being welcomed, a worker immediately insisted we tell him our reservation name because he saw we were dressed for prom. Right after that, my friend’s mom tried to take a quick photo of us outside the building and was abruptly told we could not take any pictures in front of the restaurant. Once seated, the actual dining experience itself was beautiful and the food was amazing. However, the service felt noticeably different compared to the tables around us. Our server seemed to assume we wouldn’t tip well because we were teenagers in prom dresses, and everything came out very slowly while nearby tables were greeted warmly and attended to much more attentively. For reference, my meal alone was around $50 for a burger, fries, and a drink, and I still tipped $15. What upset me the most was that after we paid, my friend and I went to the restroom and were followed by a worker who again told us we could not take photos indoors. Meanwhile, during dinner, my parents were seated at the bar and took several pictures inside without any issues — likely because they were not in prom attire. It felt very obvious that we were being singled out because we were prom guests. I completely understand not wanting people to come in only for photos without dining there. But we were paying customers who had planned this dinner in advance and spent money. A big reason we chose RH for prom dinner was because of the atmosphere and scenery. Had we known photos would be such an issue, we honestly would have chosen another restaurant. The restaurant itself is gorgeous and the food was great, but the way we were treated unfortunately left a really negative impression.

  I wanted to love this spot, but the food didn’t quite hit for me. The Caesar salad and raspberry sorbet were definitely the highlights, but the mains fell short. That said, the grounds are beautiful and being able to walk around and enjoy the gallery was a nice touch. Overall: 4/10. Not worth what we paid!
