  We were a group of five and arrived on time for our reservation. After being seated by the hostess ( black straight hair, white top, khaki dress pants) we weren’t given menus right away. Unfortunately, the water appeared unfiltered or the pitcher may not have been clean, as there were visible unidentifiable particles floating in it. When our waitress came over, she noticed we didn’t have menus and went to get them. As she returned, she accidentally spilled a glass of water on the table. Accidents happen, so this wasn’t a major issue—even though my pant leg got a little wet. However, while the floor was cleaned up, the tablecloth was left soaking wet and simply covered with a few napkins. I had to ask for the tablecloth to be replaced since it was still wet against my leg. This took about 10 minutes to resolve. After that, there were no further issues. The meatballs and croquettes were delicious. The steaks were tender and cooked as requested, though they could have used a bit of finishing salt. What stood out most was the lack of follow-up. There was a manager present ( older gentleman with a gray suit and glasses) as the waitstaff communicated with him. He, a hostess, or wait staff never came by to check on the situation, and there was no acknowledgment of the inconvenience—no apology, comp offer of any sort, or gesture to address the experience and inconvenience. Overall, none of the individual issues were major on their own, but the lack of attentiveness and service recovery left a negative impression and more to be desired from a service point of view.

  Everything about this place was excellent. The steaks were cooked perfectly and full of flavor, and the half-baked cookie is absolutely to die for—definitely a must-try. The service was outstanding from start to finish, and the atmosphere made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

  This place was 10/10. The steak was prepared perfectly, the service was top notch, and the atmosphere was very classic. Everything you want in a steakhouse and then some. Make sure you get the chilled seafood tower and the lobster Mac, they were like a cherry on top of an already phenomenal experience. Well, that and the top notch wait staff. They were incredibly attentive, personable, and knowledgeable. I’ll be going back the next time I’m in Indianapolis. See ya’ll in two weeks.
