  Good food, but... The food was good, but I was disappointed by the pricing and the inconsistency with what was advertised. The special was clearly advertised at $9.99, yet I was charged $10.69 before tax ($11.65 total). If a meal is advertised at a certain price, I believe that price should be honored. I didn't take a photo of my meal because, quite honestly, I was hungry and ready to eat. However, I also noticed that the meal didn't match the advertised picture. The promotion showed two tenders, a side, a drink, and a piece of bread. While I received the tenders, side, and drink, the bread and pickle were missing. On its own, the missing bread and pickle might seem like a minor issue, and I would normally agree. But after being charged more than the advertised price, the other inconsistencies became much more noticeable. I've eaten at this chain many times before and have always received the bread with this meal, and I've never been charged more than the advertised price. I'm not sure what changed, but I hope this location pays closer attention to honoring both the advertised pricing and what's included in the meal.

  I love joella's. I can't do a lot of hot chicken but when I'm in the mood, this is the place. Not only was the food great, as always, but the man behind the counter was friendly and went the extra mile to make sure we had a good experience.

  I frequently get the lunch special cause it’s such a good deal and you can’t get a better piece of chicken in this place comes with lemonade. I have always had good service at this location and 96th St., Indianapolis/Fishers..

  This has become my new favorite place for chicken. It has the most unique taste that just instantly captures your taste buds and keeps you wanting more and more. I won't even eat chicken from anywhere else now.

  Amazing experience at Joella’s Hot Chicken today! The manager who took our order was patient, friendly, and provided excellent customer service. The food was fresh and delicious, and he was soooo awesome as well. Customer service was a 10/10! I’ll gladly drive all the way from Geist for fresh chicken and great service. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you so much!!!!! Keep rocking 😊🍗
