  I truly hoped this would become our new go‑to spot, especially since we were celebrating our anniversary, but I left feeling disappointed. The ambience was lovely and the wait staff was wonderful. I especially enjoyed the freshly baked bread and the house cocktails. Unfortunately, since this is a steakhouse, our expectations for the main course were high. My husband and I both ordered filets — mine a smaller cut — and asked for them both to be cooked medium. While mine looked fine, his arrived well‑done. Even more disappointing, both steaks were very tough and lacked flavor. I am used to a filet at a high-end steak house being of a certain grade. We could have said something, but given the occasion, I didn’t want to spend our anniversary dealing with the interruption. Overall, it just wasn’t the experience we were hoping for. All the other reviews we read were very high. So pretty disappointed.

  Josh was our server he was nothing short of amazing, I’m not one to write reviews but felt the need to shed some light on him. He made sure my family felt accommodated and special, he was on point with food suggestions and drinks. The customer service here honestly was just a little better than the food and drinks themselves. He was fast attentive and knowledgeable also just an overall people person - the rest of the staff were so helpful I’ve never seen anything like it big shoutout to whoever is doing the hiring there. I loved it 10/10

  We came in 20 min before closing and I’m so happy that we were able to be accommodated. Josh did an amazing job offering suggestions, being hospitable , and making sure we were well taken care of. Truly appreciate you making our dining experience a memorable one.

  Josh provided an absolutely amazing experience at Del Frisco’s! From the moment we sat down, he was attentive, professional, and made sure every detail was perfect. His recommendations were spot on, the service was fast and friendly, and he truly made our dining experience feel special. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and takes pride in what he does. If you visit Del Frisco’s, definitely ask for Josh — top-tier service all around!

  From the moment my husband opened the door and we stepped inside, we were warmly greeted by two of the most pleasant gentlemen and immediately seated for our early reservation in a cozy booth in the bar area. Matthew introduced himself right away, and his energy was genuinely contagious in the best possible way, you can tell he truly loves what he does! We started with a pound of chilled crab legs, oysters, and the lobster bisque. Even though chilled King Crab wasn’t on the menu, Matthew kindly checked with the chef, and they were incredibly accommodating. We would’ve been perfectly fine without it, but we appreciated the extra effort since we love it chilled! My husband ordered the 6 oz Japanese Wagyu Filet, and it literally melted like butter the moment it hit your palate. I had the Ahi-crusted tuna, and it was some of the best we’ve ever had. We also shared the Lobster Mac and Cheese, which was absolutely perfect — creamy, rich, generously loaded with lobster, and paired with the ideal noodle size. This was easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in downtown Indianapolis. It surpasses St. Elmo and every other steakhouse in Indy, PERIOD! From the incredible service and management to the atmosphere and unforgettable food, everything was exceptional. 10/10 highly recommend...and definitely ask for Matthew!
