    We were welcomed by a polite young girl who quickly seated us. It had been some time since I had dined at Blue Sushi so I was surprised that the table was so sticky that our clothes stuck to it. My soup was luke warm while my friend’s was steaming hot so I asked if they could heat up mine for me. They brought my friend’s food without the sauces she requested, when we asked our waiter he said they are on your plate. There were only very small drizzles of sauces. She originally requested extra sauce when we ordered. Her main arrived but it took a very long time for my food to arrive. My soup was not very good and my spider roll had very little soft shell crab in it. A disappointing experience.

    This was my favorite sushi spot mainly because of the vegetarian options. But lately the quality of the sushi rolls hasn't been the same. Idk know the reason but its definitely not the same. Very disappointing! Oh, once you walk in you will not be greeted. You will just stand there until they feel like speaking to you. I should say not all but select few will not speak or offer service at the hosts station; basically you have to be the initiator. If you order online just know there will be a additional 20 min wait past your order pick up time. This rarely happens but lately has been common.

    The restaurant has a pretty extensive menu selection (including vegetarian options) with exact descriptions of each item and whether they are raw or cooked. There is a full bar but the draft beer options are slim. Our food came in a timely manner and was very well and professionally prepared. Everything looked and tasted great. The layout was an open concept with a lower light setting. Our waiter was professional and courteous and didn't pressure us in any way. There is ample parking close by and it is located in a very safe area with lots of lightning and other adjoining restaurants and a hotel. I would definitely return and try some different items.

    Blue Sushi is one of those spots we keep going back to. We’ve tried a bunch of stuff and honestly, you can’t really miss here. For apps, the shishito peppers are great and the edamame is a must, especially the spicy garlic version. For rolls, our go-to lineup is the San Marco, Crunchy Red, Godzilla Bomb, Hot Popper (I get it with no cream cheese), and the Lion King. Quick note on the Crunchy Red, don’t let the beet tempura freak you out. I can’t stand beets and you’d never know it’s in there. If you’ve still got room, do not skip dessert. The chocolate spring rolls are ridiculous. Come hungry and bring a few people because it’s a lot, but it’s 100% worth it. Simple way to put it, great sushi, fun menu, and we’ve never left disappointed.

    Food was absolutely delicious. Drinks were flowing. Atmosphere was incredible. Unfortunately, the waiter who served us was extremely rude. When he first approached us, he was upset because he had a big table and stated "Hopefully, you make it worth my time" insinuating that we better leave a tip (which of course we should, but why would you say that?). Then when a girl received her order, it lacked a sauce drizzle that the menu said it would have. When she asked for the sauce, he went get it. When he returned, he sarcasticly said, "well they usually do a lite drizzle so you might not see it, but you can add as much as you want now." Then when we were leaving, we wanted to speak to the manager about ok but his behavior but he followed us out so that he could ask on of the of girls for their number.
