Evening was great except walking in the door. It smelled so bad I was worried. I'm glad I have it a try because it was the best burger I EVER had in my life. From the presentation to the taste it was great!!. Please fix the smell upon entering, its a turn off.

I ordered the small ($17,95) Poor Boy Steak Sandwich. I ordered it done Medium. The salad was good. The beans were cold. The steak came to me one stage from dripping blood. It had no flavor at all. Meat temp was room temperature. The steak was a 1 on a 1 - 10 scale with 1 being very poor

Our 2 hour experience here was not for the weak. For $150 you too can have your medium rare steak recooked to very well done and when the chef starts again with new steaks for it to still be raw a cold on the side. It was a very disappointing experience to say the least with the manager only offing $10 off which was an insult to our 2 hour experience with only bread and drinks in our stomachs. DO NOT COME HERE LOOKING TO BE SATISFIED. (We took our hunger and raw steaks home to make sure they were cooked properly)

It was me and my boyfriend’s first time trying this place. He’s lived in Hammond his whole life and we decided to try it after watching the Gordon Ramsey episode. After he waited 10 minutes for a Dr Pepper we got the food. The cabbage soup was ok. It tasted like something I could’ve made at home. The oysters were not good. All my boyfriend had to eat was the bread because they messed up his order. He asked for his meat well done and he got it still pink inside. The second time they brought it out pink inside again and with no fries. The waitress then proceeded to tell us that the steak couldn’t be cooked anymore because it’s a thin steak. My dad cooks thin steaks all the time and he specifically over cooks them for my boyfriend and my mom because he knows they don’t like steak that’s pink. It felt like we were being gaslit and that was our sign to go home. I ordered the surf and turf pasta and it was actually good however my bread was burnt a little. If you plan on going just know you’re going to wait at least an hour before getting food. Also if you like well done meat don’t have high expectations. They were nice enough to take it off the bill but he was already having a bad day and that was his 13th reason. I don’t even get upset over food but when the waitress was telling us it couldn’t get cooked anymore it definitely ruined my mood. It’s hard to believe that a nice restaurant like this can’t cook meat a certain way. Jose needs a thermometer or something to cook well done meat.

saw Gordan Ramsey this past Tuesday at the local restaurant called Freddy Steak house. I use to love FSH. It was my family's special go to place. I actually went there for my graduation dinner in 1977. They are under new management now but was so excited and thrilled for them to have the privedge of Chef Ramsey expertise. I made reservations for 6 and we all was so excited. Now the bummer. The food was terrible, from the bread to the crab cakes to the salad and the chicken piccato. Food was do bad, not just mines buy 2 of my guess could not eat the food . I will never visit them again. So sad and disappointed, I was pulling for them. Dont waste your time, money or tastebud.
