  Wish there was a zero rating because a one star is being to kind. This McDonald's use to be decent but in the last few months its gotten really bad! Tremendously long lines and long wait times just for a drink. One time I had to go inside because drive thru was wrapped around building and to the street. When I walked in there was 1 customer in front of me. We stood inside restaurant at the counter for about 10 minutes before he literally pulled out his phone and had to physically call the restaurant we were inside of ro get their attention and tell them you have customers, we have been in here for over 10 minutes and nobody has came to the front. And even then we wait few more minutes before someone came up to help. But during this time there was at least 2 employees either on brake or just got there to start working and never popped their head in back to say yall got people pit here waiting to place their order. I waited 33 minutes that day for 1 DRINK! I use to think the McDonald's on Lake Street and Melton Road was the worse (if you from Gary then you know...back in 2025 they were horrible. Have no idea how they did not get shut down. But they are better now but I see why this one is the way it is now. The same manager that ran the McDonald's on Lake street is now managing this one! She was there the day I waited 33 minutes!! Maybe she needs ro be fired cuz whatever she doing, it aint working! And lastly what is the obsession that yall employees got with Caramel? Every rime i order a coffee or a frappe ypu guys are so quick to say ypu want a Caramel frappe? You want a caramel ice coffee? NO NO NO I DONT. But eveey time i say no I dont yall still give me a caramel coffee or frappe!! This is McDonald's...not rocket science!

  We are traveling from Dallas Texas to Chicago. We stop by Gary Indiana 46408. The store was clean, the lady at the cashier was so humble. The food was awesome. Full 5 star.⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

  the assistant store manager got disrespectful with me cuz I threw my arms up cuz I had like three people walk past me and not even asking me what what I'm waiting for and I was in a rush

  This is the worse place to order, they are slow as hell, and always have the order wrong, management is horrible, they need to restructure the hole team , starting with the management, don’t go here. Specially late night. Just horrible.

  Slowwwww... you can be at the monitor for 10-15 mins and still no one speaks. Even when you start talking and asking if the side is open...they ignore you. Everytime I come to this location it's the same thing.... 4 cars pulled off in front of me and I made the 5th. I took my money elsewhere because they don't have the decency to speak! They need help, or management is slacking!
