  Had to throw my deli sandwich away after one bite the food here is horrible and it is way overpriced.

  Tony’s has become our favorite little watering hole. Let me start at the beginning. First, we regret not stopping in here sooner. We live just around the corner from Tony’s and as the saying goes, it’s been right under our noses. It was thanks to a neighbor that we stopped in one day a couple months ago. We sat at the end of the L-shaped bar and were instantly greeted with the most sincere handshake and “hi, I’m Tony. Haven’t seen you in here before. What can I get you?” It felt like the warm embrace I know all-too-well from my maternal side 100% Italian roots. I knew I liked it here already. I ordered a glass of Cabernet. Now, I always expect that to be met with a hefty tag. To my surprise, I later learned that smooth, imported wine was just $7 for the gorgeous glass. For me to find a cozy place to enjoy a reasonably-priced and delicious glass of red while he can view sporting events from one of two large flatscreens above the bar? Say no more. That was my second instant sell. Third, to our delight, we quickly found that the menu satisfied both of our appetites with hers being a turkey fan and his being a 100% beef lover. I can’t share what I order because I’m keeping it a best kept secret so you all won’t go and sell it out before I can get to it. I will share, however, that this was the best beef sandwich we’ve ever had. Bold statement that we can firmly stand by. I wouldn’t feel the fulfillment to this review if I didn’t mention a solid observation that has been evident every time we’ve been in since that first day. Tony and Brandi clearly excellently train their employees. If- by strange chance there is a lull in customer flow- these guys do not sit still. They’re perfecting the glassware layout on the bar. Grabbing a mop or broom. Tending to the bathrooms. Wiping surfaces, which I triple dog dare you to find a speck of dust on. Tony’s is hands-down the cleanest establishment we’ve ever eaten in and their work is to show for it. To know that on any given day you have one of the two owners there working their tails off and truly overseeing the operations, fully out of passion, that says something. We adore this no-nonsense place. You want a place to grab a drink, have outstanding food, watch a game, meet a likeminded fellow neighbor, this modern-day Cheers is for you. Our biggest regret, as mentioned, is not coming here sooner. That is our loss that we’re making up for now with our some weekly-minimum visits. Tony and Brandi, thank you for this place you’ve brought to our area.

  Fantastic italian beef sandwich. Second to none. All homecooked foods. Friendly and worth the drive into Dyer.

  Drove 15 minutes only to be told they were out if bread. Guess we will call ahead next time to check
