  I have previously left 5 starts for this restaurant the food is absolutely amazing, however we went there tonight and had a bad experience and I felt like it needed to be noted as there was no manager out front to complain to. Our server was super unprofessional. She was the only server working but there was only us and one other table in the restaurant she started off the conversation with letting us know they had their liquor license suspended but could offer us tea or Pepsi. We ordered and the food was fine as always but we kept having to wait for refills and when we could finally get her attention she wasn’t helpful. We have a little one and we asked if they had a spoon and she said “no I make $3 an hour and the cook is in the bathroom” which we were utterly confused about I but said “no worries” she then comes back with a plastic one from a to go kit. We said thank you. Once she dropped off the check she was completely done with us we waited and waited for her to come around to ask for boxes my husband even tried waving at her a few times. After getting tired of waiting he walked up to where they were and grabbed his own box. At first the little things did not bother us that much we have both worked food service and know how it is sometimes. What annoyed me was we left an 18% tip which we usually do 20% but did not feel like 20 was earned. I left a note on the receipt for the manager since there wasn’t one out there and here’s what pissed me off and sent me to the point of writing the review. We walk out and are getting into the car in the rain I might add and she chases me out of the restaurant and said “what’s your problem” I explained nicely but felt like that was really inappropriate.

  Wish more ppl would come to this underrated place, been in here by myself for 30 mins, very good food and friendly staff, authentic horchata that’s very nice. I can’t find that many places.

  The food was great, place was clean and our waitress Katrina was absolutely crushing it! She was on top of everything, super attentive, and handled a busy shift like a total pro. Give that woman a raise!

  Me and my boyfriend ate here today. It was our first time here. The food was excellent! My margarita was mixed perfectly. Our waitress Katrina was great. She checked on us regularly and had a few laughs with us. I highly recommend this restaurant. 🍹🙂
