  The fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, and fresh roll were PHENOMENAL. Service was fast and the prices were very reasonable. My friend and I were road-tripping through Illinois on our way home to Indianapolis, IN from Hannibal, MI and our lunch at The Apple Dumplin’ was the perfect ending to a lovely weekend!

  Breakfast is overrated and over priced. "Fried taters" came out looking like scalloped potatoes from a box no "fry" to them, more like steamed or boiled. No flavor in biscuits and gravy so $10.00 for 2 biscuits and gravy Eggs were priced well $1.50 each. And the service was okay.

  My husband and I experienced The Apple Dumplin this evening for dinner and let me say it was fantastic. Actual home cooking and fantastic service. We ordered the chicken and noodles and mashed potatoes and they were amazing. If you go please order their rolls as a side and have some apple butter with them. Also, leave room for the apple dumpling with vanilla ice cream. You wont regret it! Fantastic service, food and atmosphere. Thank you Apple Dumplin!! We will definitely be back.

  This place is awesome! The waitresses are top notch. So friendly and the food is also very delicious. I'm usually meeting friends for lunch here. There are rotating lunch and dinner specials each day. The food is prepared home style and honestly you can't beat the atmosphere. Oh yeah, did I mention the salad bar or the Sunday hot buffet??
