As a longtime resident of the USA, I have never experienced such overt and hurtful discrimination as I did during my recent visit. The layout of the restaurant features two distinct dining sections separated by a central waiting/passage area. Upon arrival, I was seated by a server in one of the sections, which was completely empty. I noticed that the entire opposite section was filled with white patrons. While I initially thought nothing of the seating arrangement, my perspective shifted when another party—also Indian—arrived. They were promptly directed to sit in our section, away from the other patrons. Throughout the meal, the discriminatory behavior became increasingly clear. Our server was neglectful, making us wait an excessive amount of time just to place an order and barely checking on us throughout our meal. Meanwhile, I observed several groups of white customers walk in after us, and without exception, they were all seated in the opposite section. By the end of our meal, our side of the restaurant was occupied exclusively by Indian and other brown-skinned guests, while the other side remained entirely segregated. It is disheartening and unacceptable to be treated with such blatant prejudice. No customer should ever be made to feel unwelcome or marginalized based on their background or skin color. This experience has completely soured my view of this establishment, and I felt it was important to document this incident publicly so others are aware of this unacceptable behavior. I will not be returning, and I strongly urge management to address the biased practices occurring within their dining room.
