  We ordered take out for a small gathering. Order was 5 large pizzas and one small gluten free crust pizza. The order was ready on time. Easy online ordering and delicious. Everyone kept asking where the pizza was from. This has become our go to pizza spot!

  The food was good but very disappointed with the service. We were a party of seven on a Thursday night, and the restaurant was not very crowded at all. By the time we ordered our entrees, there were only about two other tables of people there. It took over an hour for us to get our food. Very disappointing.

  Old school Italian restaurant. The pizza is very good! Cheesy garlic bread was great too! Service was strong. Outdoor dining on the river is SO nice!

  A perfect way to spend an early Saturday afternoon. Excellent in all areas. We walked in just after they opened at 1pm on Saturday. The host stand was kind, we asked for seating outside. As we turned the corner into the main dinning room there was alot of seating, alot of peple in the seats, and a full view of the fox river. The host sat us in an excellent spot closest to the river on the riverside patio. We were on the patio and began with a lemoncello spritz and red wine. Ordered a side of Rappini cooked as expected perfect amount of roasted garlic and not over powering. A nice taste of home. Then Grilled Zuchini which eneded up being 2 orders after we decided they were done perfectly too. The second order we ate with the tomato and mozzarella balsamic on the side. Next was a generous order of Calamari - they were plump, very nice, tender, and tastie served with both marinara and cocktail sauce and lemon. Last we split the Gulf Shrimp and Vodka Sauce Rigatoni. Fresh sauce, full of herbs, very delicious, and more tomato-ie then other places which was very nice. There was plenty of sauce that coated the dish perfectly, pasta perfectly al dente, and the gulf shrimp were plump, juicy and cooked perfectly for the dish. It was a great dish, it came with a side salad made with care. Mia was our server she was patient as we slowly worked our way through deciding on what to order on the delcious menu. Ordering a little at a time. Thank you Mia. Best wishes to Salerno's on the Fox. Look forward to returning with our family. We had such a good time enjoying the our selves, the food, view, and service this was the only pictures we got.

  The food is delicious and it’s a beutiful location, sadly the last time I went in was not like it was before :(. Me and my girlfriend went in for a nice date before our movie. We have been to here before also before a movie with zero issues we plan 45 minutes for ordering,food to cook, and delivery to table and then 30 mins to eat and pay, which I feel is a reasonable allocation of time. About a year ago this worked fine! Sadly this time when we went it was rough. It started off with no one being at the front counter despite being 4:00 pm on a Friday -_-, but no matter we just waited, then we got sat down near a window which is nice, and the waitress took our drink orders and we looked for what to eat. Now I know all food prices have gone up, but a 20% increase is a bit much, but still we thought it would be fine even with the 3.5% surcharge for using card. Sadly it took 45 minutes to even hear that our food was being plated! Mind you we had already been there for 10-20 mins ordering! We only ordered a simple burger with fries, and a baby pizza! There is no reason why it should have taken that long especially since no one was in the restaurant and my girlfriend overheard someone yelling by the kitchen saying “I have a table out here why is the food still here!” The fact that the food was already done and just wasn’t taken out is beyond me.We needed to get to our movie and so then we had our food in to go boxes and ate later. On the way out we got the check and the waitress gave a annoyed look when we didn’t leave a tip when we didn’t even stay there to eat! I’m just sad that our expierience was so bad I love the food there it’s on of my favorites it’s just sad when service is so poor:( sadly would not come again, the manager was nice when he came over I understand the frustration and it seemed like he was stressed.
