  By far the best Italian restaurant in Springfield. The server was attentive without being intrusive.

  When we got there we found that all their sauces for all their pasta were made with parmesan cheese sauce. We tried a sample and could not taste the cheese so we ordered. When we got our order it was different and there was a strong parmesan taste. We couldn't eat it so they took it away and we asked for escargot. They brought the escargot and immediately delivered the pasta back to our table in a to go package and when we asked why they brought it to our table again he told us I'm charging for it. ($27 plus tax). The escargot was served with a heavy lemon juice flavor and even though I eat escargot often, having it served in lemon juice did not work at all. He frequently gratuitously said "I thought you said" and then immediately left the table. It was the first time in 60 rears of eating out as an adult we were made to pay for food we could not eat. Pasta with no meat was not as much of a sacrifice for the restaurant as it was for the client especially since we ordered something else. Horrible customer ethics. Profits first. Perhaps the bar tender is better but it was a very bad experience for dining.
