Had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant. Went there on Mother's Day. I had 3 bottles of (light) beer and asked for a fourth. The server (Vincent) told me I was cut off. I thought this was strange, as I wasn't being beligerent, loud or obnoxious. I did not fight with him, make a scene or ask to speak to a manger. I was embarrassed as we had taken my wife's aunt and uncle out to eat for Mother's Day and I felt as I was being judged in front of them. He then comes and tells me I am ok to have another drink (unprompted, he supposedly had "asked the manager"). At the conclusion of the meal he said we could pay on paper or kiosk. My wife paid kiosk for a bill close to $200 not counting tip. Vincent brought over what I thought was a receipt to me. I thought my wife must have asked for a copy. It was for $248 (I thought this was for bill and tip paid). As we are walking out in front of all the people waiting for tables he comes running up to me and says we never paid (I thought he was coming up to say sorry and thanks for the 20% plus tip). Talk about the joke being on me and a very embarrassing moment!! And his manager said same thing........In front of a whole front room. I quickly pulled up my credit card app and showed them, no I did pay a bill here. The kiosk on our table was not reflective of our bill and was for another guest party. Vincent said a couple of times he recognized me. I dont know what he was insinuating as that was the first time I have ever been in that facility and I have not lived in Springfield (or even Illinois) for almost 20 years.

My family and I were greeted by the host who held open the door with smiles and warm welcomes, once we were seated it wasnt long before our order was in. When our salads were brought to us to which I ordered the new wedge salad with the balsamic dressing 🤤 it was soooooo delicious everything was, the manger Carly was amazing not only was she the one to present our first part of the meal but she was quick to assist my daughter's mishap with the ketchup bottle explosion onto her T-shirt by rushing off to get what I though was just going to be some extra napkins turned out she grabbed some club soda and a rag so we could get my daughter cleaned up! It was just beyond enjoyable not many individuals take the time to care and step in to assist it warmed my heart to have such a pleasant evening out for mothers day, we will most definitely be returning and talking up the tasty food 😊 Thank again to all staff, keep it up your efforts show 😀 🥰

We didn't even get to eat here. The first booth we were sat at had ants crawling on the table top and then they moved us one table back to a filthy uncleaned booth full of trash and broken crayons. This was definitely not a good first impression for our first time in.
