  Food was great, coffee was good; however, the cashier was awful. She was so rude and acted as if she did not want to be there. Asked for sweetener for my cup of coffee and she said they only sweeten coffee with sweetened condensed milk. She acted as if my request was absurd. Call me crazy, but I think a coffee place should have sweetner options for those who like sweetened coffee, but do not want to use a sweetened condensed milk! Ugh

  Only had the mixed fruit crepe. It seemed like a high price, but the portion is enough to share with two others. The chocolate is high quality. It would also be a thoughtful gift for someone. Will come back to try the yemeni chai!

  You have to come here! This place makes you forget your in the Midwest’ from the beautiful marble flooring and tabletops to the rose wall rope swing! Unreal! And the food, you will not believe that you ordered this in the middle of Illinois!!! Amazing I would give it 10 stars If I could! Service was also amazing, professional and very helpful!

  Do not pass up this spot, so good! Definitely shareable portions, very fun for any occasion but especially for folks looking for a delish and fun new dessert stop.. this is for you! Great service and owner is very nice

  Wife and I went to Chocolate Café tonight and all I can say is wow. We don’t have a dessert establishment here in Springfield and now we do and I’m telling you it’s here to stay. It was delicious, beyond delicious; and it was indescribably delicious. I got the cheesecake with Biscoff and pistachio and wife got the waffle with Biscoff and Kinder chocolate. Wife also got a chocolate croissant with a white chocolate latte for later on let me tell you the waffles came out warm and delicious and it was a nice contrast to the cool cheesecake that I had. The portions were nice-sized and the service was accurate. I will be ordering the Adani Chai tea next time and so what if it takes 20 minutes; if it’s delicious, it’s worth the wait. Besides, the prices are fair and reasonable for quality desserts like these. Please get your desserts from here. You will not be disappointed in any desserts that you get from here. All I have to say is five stars this was gourmet dessert at its best and I’ve had desserts from Europe, Asia Turkey, even though Turkey’s in Europe, this WAS delicious!
