  Manager, please pay attention to the portions being served by the employees at this location. They are giving exactly half of the portion they are supposed to. I eat at Chipotle 3–4 days a week, and usually, people who come to places like this are workers who are hungry and want a filling meal. Yet this is the only location where they seem to be trying to save on rice 🍚. Saving a little rice definitely isn’t going to make you rich. 😅 P.S. Please serve the standard portion — no more, no less. Thank you! And yes, I just read the reviews from other customers, and everyone seems to have the same problem. Apparently, the manager just doesn’t care. 🤷

  Smallest portion I have ever had in all the Chipotles I’ve been to!! Also the steak is extremely salty, it shouldn’t even be served to customers.

  Went back tonight, and it was the same crew that I had a negative experience with. Food was exponentially improved, service was much better. Great improvements so far, if it’s kept up.

  I would not recommend this location to anyone living in the Springfield area. We have always loved chipotle until our last handful of visits with this location in particular. We stopped ordering curbside due to the staff completely screwing you on portion size and never having this done when originally scheduled for pick up time. Today we had yet another visit with another HANDFUL of issues. When we first arrived the line was backed up and we waited 15 minutes because they ran out of chicken. Keep in mind, once they finally got the chicken they realized they were out of white rice and stated it will be another 15 minutes waiting before it will be finished cooking. The “cook” in the back mouthed off and said “ain’t nothing I can do, we’ve been busy today.” After I complained at the fact we should have been waiting 30 minutes in line and still have yet to place our order. Not to mention, what the heck were you doing when waiting 15 minutes for the chicken to be done? Why was this not cooked simultaneously instead of dragging out everyone’s visit. Congratulations to the management team for having a winning store and I watched MULTIPLE families walk out empty handed. I made sure to tell every single person walking in what transpired and they left before entering so you lost a ton of business due to your lack of keeping up and holding people accountable to do their jobs. I’m a GM of another business and I can tell you right now that I would be firing multiple associates for lousy performance. Not to mention you lose a decent amount of money in the time that we were there. We will never be back to this location and I will let everyone I know from family, friends, and my entire business to go to the N Dirksen location or don’t go at all.

  Walked in for dine in order, almost every table was filthy with food remnants on it. Drink station was dirty with straw wrappers and spilled beverage on it. The floor need swept very badly. Front entry door has a broken handle. Real classy joint. The steak burrito was decent, but the chips and queso were awful. The chips felt and tasted like they were on the verge of going stale, and the queso tasted very chalky. Service was good. But I would not recommend eating in at this place. Luckily there was a six too that was fairly clean for me to sit at and eat. For the same price I could have gone to an authentic Mexican restaurant and had a much better meal in a much cleaner environment. Do better chipotle……
