  I've been coming to this store for a long time, today I came in went through self pay which I often do and there was a lady helping out there, very rude and did not help at all it took her more than 5 mins to come and approve a liquor sale I asked her a few questions and she totally ignored me

  Their fried/roasted chicken is the best and only $7.99 fo 8pc. They have great sales on the bucket of tenders or wing pieces for only $9.99. Fruit is fresh and have great weekly sales on Fruit products

  I placed a grocery pickup order from Jewel-Osco, and while the order was ready on time, I was very disappointed with the quality control and customer service that followed. After arriving home with my infant and unpacking my groceries, I discovered that the chicken included in my order had an expiration date of June 20, 2026, even though I picked up the order on June 25, 2026. Selling or distributing expired meat is a serious concern, especially when customers trust store employees to select safe products for pickup orders. Additionally, my Oui yogurt was substituted with Fage yogurt without my knowledge or approval. The receipt and order details still show that I received the Oui yogurt, which is inaccurate and misleading. I submitted feedback through the order review system and then called the store to report these issues. The employee who answered transferred me to the delivery department. The representative there asked for my name and the details of the problem, then placed me on hold. After more than 50 minutes on hold with no response, I called back from another phone and spoke with a manager. The manager stated she would check with the shopper and the departments responsible for the items. While I appreciate the manager's willingness to investigate, the fact that I received expired chicken, an undisclosed substitution, and then experienced an excessive hold time when attempting to resolve the issue is unacceptable. Customers should be able to trust that pickup orders are checked for freshness, accuracy, and safety before being handed over. I hope this matter is addressed promptly to prevent similar experiences for other customers.

  It’s disappointing that this is the primary grocery store near me. I used to enjoy shopping here ten years ago, but it seems that with frequent management changes, the care for the store's upkeep has diminished. While this store is smaller than the one in Dyer, there are several opportunities to improve the overall shopping experience. For instance, I often find that essential items in the produce, meat, and dairy departments are unavailable. Additionally, the layout of the merchandise could be more organized, and the bakery items might benefit from a more meticulous arrangement. The produce section is making strides, but there are still areas that could use attention, such as the floors, which need cleaning and repair, as well as the bathroom, which requires a thorough cleaning. The front area and floral section could be made more inviting with better organization to help customers navigate easily. I believe that a refreshed marketing strategy could also positively impact customer perception. It would be beneficial for regional management to recognize these areas for improvement, as addressing them could greatly enhance the shopping experience for everyone.

  The one star is due to the pharmacy staff. They do not contact the doctor's office when they claim to have done so. They are unwilling to work with the doctors office regarding getting medication synced. They will fill some prescriptions up to a month early and others prescriptions they won't fill until a few days after you have run out. The worse thing is they are arrogant and will NEVER take accountability for their errors & blame the doctor or insurance.
