  the cashier VERBALLY HARASSED me across the room from the counter. She is 5'2 around 250 lbs blonde around 50 years old. I have been to over 100 Panera locations. I basically go every week across the USA and had the worst experience of any of them here at the Scahumburg location by woodfield. I walked in the door and the cashier clearly targeted me. She didn't have a name tag on so i don't know her name. shes about 50 years old, blonde, 5 '2, and heavy. she kept screaming from the counter for my rewards number for my refill. I said I will go to the ipad because I didn't want to talk to her she was clearly off. she was screaming I'll do it here. I went to the ipad and did it anyway which clearly got under her skin. she then went back to the kitchen to make sure I DID NOT get a new cup because I still had my old cup. This was the most unprofessional service I have ever had not only any Panera but any restaurant. I walked in and did not even go to the counter, so it wasn't like I was talking to her or even interacting with her. She went way out of her way to make a scene and then when she didn't get what she wanted, me coming to the counter, she went to he kitchen to make sure I did not get a new cup. YES she went to the kitchen to tell the guys not to give me a new cup which I paid for. People like this are bad for business Panera. The whole experience felt off she literally made a customer feel unsafe in the restaurant. I have never had anyone do that in any restaurant I have ever been too. UPDATE Panera corporate responded back to me within minutes apologizing her a very disturbed and clearly angry employee. Thank you corporate Panera. I will keep coming because I do like Panera and one bad lady won't ruin it for me.

  Telling the staff about no paper towel or toilet paper was meet with confused look- not my job look. Hire better workers!!

  I’ve been eating at Panera my whole life. My family loves Panera so much they are apart of the sip club! Although! This location after ordering my typical green passion smoothie, I’ve became ill. Very disappointed, and I hope the standards and the management team is well aware. I expect more from Panera Bread.

  Lexi , the manager on shift , asked me to move my car since I was taking up the handicap space. Before she even came to the car, I noticed her and gave her a small smile since I assume she was looking at my dog but nope, she didn’t smile back just kept the same blank dead stare as she approached me. I did move my car but she gave me a stare down and wasn’t polite about it at all. I told her I was just waiting to pick up an order and all she did was tell me to move my car. There is a better way to communicate to ask people to move , I feel like it was a power move since she is the manager and she felt good about herself. My boyfriend was inside during this incident,Now I can’t dash the order and have to write a review taking time out of my day to get an answer. I’d like to talk to another manager.

  This Panera should be the example of the gold standard for all Panera locations! Friendly service and if something is not right they are quick and happy to correct. If they’ve been busy and you bring something to their attention they are quick to replenish, clean or make right whatever it is and always with a smile. New team members don’t always get it but eventually catch on and are very pleasant! Keep up the good work and your employees will go the extra mile for you!
