  I went there at 3:45 in 5/14 to get 2 chicken tender meals for my children. I saw maybe I would get it close to the time that they cooked it.But it was evident that this chicken and potato wedges was in that case since eleven a m because they're so hard and dry, they just crumble when I bite into them. And the case was full, so I don't know if I just got the old stuff.But maybe you should throw the old stuff out.So we can all get the fresh stuff.

  ADONIS in balloons and floral was the KINDEST most helpful employee I've encountered at a grocery store in some time. He made my son's graduation day AMAZING! THANK YOU, ADONIS! YOURE THE REAL MVP!

  I had a very disappointing experience at the Jewel-Osco on Schaumburg Road in Barrington in the bakery department. A friend and I came in to place an order for 24 cupcakes. From the moment we approached the counter, an employee named Mike was immediately rude and dismissive. Instead of assisting us professionally, he directed another employee to take our order. That employee was not wearing a hair net, which was concerning in a food service area. After placing our order, I noticed Mike bagging cookies and asked a simple question about whether they were fresh. His response was unnecessarily aggressive and rude. When I pointed out his tone, he immediately tried to shift the situation and claimed that I was the one being rude, even though I had only asked a basic question. At that point, the situation had already escalated due to his behavior. It escalated further when he stated that he would throw my order away, which was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I also spoke with a manager named Tyler regarding the situation. While he did offer an apology at the end, there was little effort to fully understand or address what had happened. There was no attempt to separate the parties, ask questions, or show concern about the situation. His response came across as unbothered and lacking accountability, which was disappointing and reflected a lack of proper management in handling customer concerns. No customer should be treated with hostility for asking a simple question, and no employee should threaten to discard a customer’s order. This experience reflected very poorly on the store. I will not be returning to this location based on how this situation was handled. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses both employee conduct and leadership response moving forward. This incident has also been reported to corporate.

  Always clean and you can get solid prices with the app. Usually pretty busy but the staff keeps a nice flow so it doesn't feel like it. The bakery always looks good with the variety they keep.

  Of all the Jewels Osco's in the land this one always hits the mark. Whoever works in the bakery and runs the deli, they exceed expectations! We moved to Schaumburg recently so our go to Jewel changed. This location specifically, has the best house made products. Whether we're talking oatmeal raisin cookies, cupcakes, tortilla chips or tater-babies, they are -always- fresh and delicious! We also do the bulk of our grocery shopping late at night, and the gal who runs self checkout is kind, helpful and genuine. I wish I grabbed her name, but she rocks. Peace, Love, Midwest Grocery stores!
