  While I would like to compliment Dave and Buster's arcade experience as I really enjoyed myself and that experience, the same cannot be said about my earlier interaction with the dining service from our server/waiter, Gary. He started off making a joke about needing to see my ID when ordering a non-alcoholic peach tea, which I found strange but brushed it off. Eventually when my group said that we had questions about the menu, he decided to sit down at our table across from me as if we personally knew each other. In no circumstance should you ever sit beside strangers who you do not know at the familiar setting of a dining table. It was far too close for our liking and felt predatory. It was definitely awkward and we felt as if we couldn't say anything because he was our server and we wanted our food. There were a few snarky comments made that came off as very rude, like telling me that I was paying attention to what my drink was and that he caught me off guard because I didn't correct him. The drinks were the same price, so I didn't feel any need to correct him. I know what I was drinking and that was that. Even at the end of our visit when we expressed that our food was okay, he basically brushed it off and said that he likes the food and it didn't really matter much which felt incredibly dismissive and rude. Even when paying for our meal, it felt as if he was staring at us when deciding on the tips. I even asked for a receipt because I wanted to ensure that my amount was correct because the vibe at the table felt so tense. It took around 5-10 minutes just to get that. Overall, I'm very disappointed by the food service as it felt incredibly creepy. If he wants to be flirty, do it on your own time instead of with the clearly uninterested people you are serving.

  I want to shout out two incredible staff members that we’ve had encounters with. The first is Tonya, who is one of the managers. She’s always out on the floor, assisting guest, and has the friendliest disposition. The second is a gentleman named Zachary who was working the redemption center counter. You could tell he was doing his absolute best to assist everyone promptly and with kindness. It made me so happy to watch him interact with others and genuine enjoy his job.

  Dave & Buster's Schaumburg has become our go-to spot for watching live boxing. Staff is friendly and accommodating, new menu offers lots of solid options, and with several large screens, generally great viewing throughout. Management is very down to Earth and personable, and the GM Casey is awesome! He always makes sure we're comfortable and taken care of. Highly recommend, even if not there for the gameplay.

  Poor staff management. While each of the staff members themselves were great, the establishment was unable to handle the amount of people they had. Many games were out of order with not enough staff to keep up with maintenance. But the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen in a restaurant business is being UNABLE TO HONOR A RESERVATION and telling us the kitchen was so backed up they were 3 hours behind! The restaurant wasn't even full and the upstairs wasn't open. While I completely understand that things out of control happen, we had planned our play time around our dinner reservations and had absolutely no communication that the reservations were being canceled at which point it was next to impossible to eat anywhere else in the area due to the time. So disappointed

  Worst experience. 40min and all that was brought over was a side salad. When I brought it to their attention that we couldn't wait any longer, they were eager to pack it up, just wished they had the same energy to bring the food over. Should've known it wasnt going to be a good experience, when we were brought to our table the host took the extra plates away like they do and left 1 menu for 3 people, then our waiter took our drink orders and we had to ask for water 15 min after we sat down. They apologize, I mean every company/manager has to say it but they dont care. They charged us for one drink that wasn't even finished. In the containers food was tossed, couldn't put any napkins or wet wipes or utensils. Definitely the last time going to this location.
