  We've had our Crew Appreciation Party here for the last 3 years. The food, entertainment and the Amazing service has only gotten better each year. Keep up the great work D&B!

  We went there aound 6:30pm on a Saturday and got on the waitlist to be seated at the restaurant for 10 people, was told the wait would be about 45min to an hour. Yes they were busy, seemed heavily understaffed, as there were many open tables that never got cleaned and/or people got seated. We were finally seated upstairs after 2 hours, but overheard a staff asking, "why are you bringing people up, we have no server up here". We waited maybe 10 minute to get the menu. Then waited over 30 minute to find someone to take our order. One guy was running around trying to serve all the tables upstairs and he told us he actually works at the bar. We got our food around 10:30pm and we left around 11pm. This was our group's first time at this location and we probably won't be back.

  I had taken my grandchildren to the Dave and Bisters in Lombard about a year ago. My grandkids were 6 and 8 then. The games were engaging, very hands on and active. We had a blast. Tonight I realized that I made the mistake of assuming that all D&B locations were the same. The Schaumburg location is so loud you can’t have a comfortable conversation with the people you’re eating with. The games were boring. Too many games that were cerebral or reminiscent of slot machines. Where were the motorcycles, or the fishing game, or the basketball shooting game? This are the games my kids were looking forward to playing. And finally, the bathrooms were filthy (I won’t go into the details.) www walked away having spent $210 and feeling like it wasn’t worth what we paid for. I gave it a 3 because the food was pretty good.

  I resent writing a review. I would rather not. Unfortunately, while the games were fun, the service was bad. Yes, we waited a long time for our drinks and food. Yes, we had to wave down the bar staff because they never checked on us. Yes, we asked for the check and then, after a long wait, had to remind them to get us the check. But beyond that, they dramatically messed up our bill - over charging us by about $30. Then, after they realized something was messed up, they corrected it. Great. However, we could never confirm things were fixed - they don't offer itemized receipts. Sure, people make mistakes, but how do you explain the recommended percentages being DRAMATICALLY off? In fact, you can see in the attached photos that the "20% tip" is about double what 20% of our bill actually is! You might say, that's just a fluke! We came with friends. They were on a separate bill. We did not SPLIT a bill. We were separate from the beginning. So, there was no chance of confusion. And guess what - their recommended tips were dramatically overestimated as well. This is basic math. It isn't hard for a sophisticated POS to calculate a percentage. Yet, D&B tried to get us and others to pay twice as much as they should have. Can't imagine why...
