Overall, the food was very good, fresh, and delicious. Everything looked great, and aside from one issue, I really have nothing to complain about.
Unfortunately, the steak was a huge disappointment. The meat was extremely tough and full of gristle, to the point where it was almost impossible to chew or eat. Out of the entire portion, maybe two pieces were actually edible — the rest was mostly tough, chewy connective tissue. Honestly, I would not recommend paying extra to add the steak to your meal if this is the quality being served.
However, I want to give a big compliment to the staff and CAVA for how they handled the situation. After I explained the problem, they replaced the steak with chicken without any hassle, and the chicken was very good. That is exactly how good customer service should work. 👍
My suggestion to CAVA is simple: either improve the quality of the steak or consider removing it from the menu, because meat this tough and gristly really shouldn't be served to customers.
Other than the steak, everything was great — fresh, tasty, well prepared, and the service was excellent. I would definitely come back, but next time I’ll be sticking with the chicken. ⭐️
They are clearly still new. Seemed like they were overstaffed because people were standing around- yet I had to ask someone to wipe down tables. The wraps are big- hard to eat because they don't wrap the paper in a way that hold it together. The bowls are filling. I do not recommend the falafel - it was more like a chickpea meatball. Texture and appearance was all off. Sauces are good, line was well organized. I understand why they are trendy. Not the cheapest option but a good balanced meal in most cases. Ordering took a while as the line was held up multiple times due to "too many cooks in the kitchen" around the pay terminal
Was super excited when I heard there was a cava location opening up near me, had to go check it out immediately! So glad I decided to do so, atmosphere was amazing, amazing costumer service and food. Although, what really stood out to me was I belive the girl’s name was “Eli”. She had amazing service, was really helpful and you could tell she actually wants to work. 10/10 would definitely be coming to this location especially since it’s so near me.

My second time being at this location. First time everything was fantastic. But today the lady was visibly rolling her eyes when I asked questions about the toppings. And when I tried to point out the specific toppings I want for her she said “pls don’t get too close to the glass” in a not very pleasant tone. I hope this is just a one-time thing or maybe she’s just tired from a long day. Also the music was kinda loud so it might make a little bit hard to hear. The food is still good

Trying the cava for the first time, not out of curiosity but this was the only restaurant open at the time, as I was out with family and looking for dinner.
Wanted to order pita sandwich but pita was very thin so opted for bowl. Ordered 1 chicken bowl and 1 vegan bowl.
Vegan bowl was measurably failed due to soggy falafel. Portion is very little overall.
Overall okay experience, I would not suggest to go this place as Mediterranean restaurant, especially I have been hard core fan of popular Mediterranean eateries wheeling and skokie area, as they server popping hot and fresh.
This could be a good option for teenagers, I would still prefer mexican bowl from popular chain over this.
