  Food was decent, expected better from such an establishment. Service was good except for our waiter. Disappointing experience as we were there for Father's Day. We had to ask another server for bread because ours kept being absent and when he was present, he didn't come with bread nor offered it. When he'd leave, it'd be a while before we see him again, which is always frustrating because it increases wait times. We waited a while for our drinks, and he forgot both. He went on and removed my fountain drink from the bill due to the very long wait; I finally got it at the end of my meal, even though I asked twice. And we had to sit there for a while, being ready to pay and leave. The service plus the mediocre food just made a disappointing way to celebrate my beau. He didn't even want dessert, was just ready to leave and get home. Despite everything, appreciated the free valet and booth that came with curtains that can be let down.

  Had a great time. Inside is cozy. Bar to the left when arriving, spacious, plenty of TVs and bar seating is comfortable. My Old Fashion was top notch and bartender was wonderful. Booths are cute, even have a privacy curtain if wanted.

  If I could have given zero stars for any of these categories, I would have because we never got seated. Granted it was a Saturday night &, apparently there was an event nearby, but we arrived for our 5:30 reservation only to find people who had reservations at 4:30, 5:00, & 5:15 still not seated. There was no bar service, we were told the wait would be over 30 minutes & the hostess & manager didn’t offer any concessions or apologies. Multiple parties walked out as we did. Absolutely terrible service, or lack of service, from a supposedly top rate restaurant.

  In a word: CRAP. In two words: INCOMPETENT MANAGER. In three words DON’T GO THERE! Confirmed reservation. Got there on time. Manager overbooked. At 1st the Manager hid from customers and let a young girl take the heat (coward) then showed up and professed ignorance about everything. He refused to estimate how long to be seated - then only saying more than an hour. Free drink while we wait? No.! Why? No servers!! GO but only IF YOU’RE AN IDIOT and AT YOUR OWN RISK. They should repay me for the Uber rides roundtrip +/- $40 but … no complimentary drinks? No class.

  I recently celebrated a special occasion at your establishment for the second year in a row. Although I am not from Chicago, I genuinely looked forward to returning because of the wonderful experience we had previously. We were delighted to have the same server, Joe, once again. Joe was warm, kind, attentive, and consistently ensured that everything was perfect throughout our visit. His professionalism and genuine hospitality made our celebration even more memorable. I wanted to take a moment to recognize Joe for his outstanding customer service. Employees like him create lasting impressions and are a big reason guests choose to return. Please extend our thanks and appreciation to him for helping make our experience so enjoyable.
