- SSsjmar100Jul 14, 20261.0The three times I’ve been to this particular DQ I was taken aback by the dirty appearance and odors in this store. I love DQ. The food is great, but this location on Weber in Romeoville needs to clean up their act. Tables are dirty. The floor is always sticky. Napkins and debris on the floors, and the bathrooms are… not nice. I won’t go there again.

When ordering I specified that I wanted it to say congratulations John; today I came to pick it up and it just had the paper decal „congratulations” I asked if we could have „John” written as that’s what I asked for. The lady IMMEDIATELY said „you never said to write „congratulations John” even though I always order my cakes with the person we’re celebrating name. I even remember spelling out his name. She said that she will add his name, then proceeded to take a another customer. Finally she started to work on the cake and oh my god. I could have written it better myself- she had written his name with yellow and added 3 random black lines on 3 letters. I asked if she could make it look a neater and add more black to balance it. The picture is the result. For almost 70$ I expected better quality and service!!!

They close at 9 it would be different if it was 845, but even that is pushing it was only 8:20 and I was looking forward to a free cone after my shift.
