Their burgers are made with fresh ground beef—there aren't even freezers in their restaurants. Their toppings are prepared fresh, and everything is made to order. And then there are the fries. These aren't frozen fries dumped out of a bag. They're made from fresh potatoes, hand-cut in the restaurant, and cooked in peanut oil. And Five Guys is definitely generous with the portions—they don't just fill your cup with fries; you can usually count on plenty of extras in the bag! But don't overlook the hot dogs. I tried one, and it wasn't like any hot dog I've ever gotten from a fast-food restaurant. They split it lengthwise and grill it, giving it that delicious grilled flavor and texture. It was absolutely delicious and something I would order again without hesitation. If you like peanuts, you can grab some complimentary peanuts while you're waiting for your food. And their Coca-Cola Freestyle machines give you an incredible number of fountain drink choices and flavor combinations. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the portions are generous, and you can customize your burger or hot dog with whatever toppings you want. Fresh burgers, hand-cut fries, great hot dogs, and plenty of food—you really can't go wrong with Five Guys.
