I love coming to this Dunkin. Despite living across town, I always prefer to come to this one. But I want to talk about one time particular I came in here. I was working for Uber Eats and the store was about to close. The girls there made sure everyone was taken care of and they were short staffed. They apologized for taking a while with the order. I told them that they were busy and just doing their job and it wasn’t an issue. Very respectful. As for the other times I come in, they’re quick. In and out. Love this location.

Hey Dunkin’ on Charles St in Rockford… this isn’t on your employees, but your equipment is a problem. The scanner hasn’t worked for awhile now and is literally held together with tape with exposed wires. The girl helping me was so sweet and tried multiple times—she did everything right. But your staff shouldn’t have to work like that. Please fix it ASAP.

America Runs on Fumes and Existential Dread Rating: ⭐⭐ (2/5) Dunkin’, we’ve been through a lot together. We’ve seen the "Donuts" dropped from your name, the rise and fall of the snackin’ bacon, and enough "limited-time" syrups to flavor a small ocean. But lately, visiting a Dunkin’ feels less like a morning pick-me-up and more like a social experiment designed to test the limits of human patience. The Coffee Crisis I’m convinced the "iced coffee" is actually just a cup of ice that once sat in the same room as a bean. Every time I take a sip, it’s a mystery: Will it taste like burnt rubber, or will it be 90% liquid sugar that makes my teeth vibrate at a frequency only dogs can hear? There is no middle ground. It’s the Schrödinger’s Cat of beverages—until you open the lid, it is simultaneously both coffee and a biological hazard. The Donut Dilemma Calling these "donuts" is a bold legal strategy. Most of the time, they have the structural integrity of a sponge that’s been left out in the sun since the Obama administration. I ordered a jelly-filled yesterday and discovered approximately one singular tear-drop of jelly hiding in the corner like it was witnessing a crime. The Atmosphere & Service The energy behind the counter is pure "I haven't slept since 2024." I watched a manager and a kiosk have a more meaningful conversation than the one I had trying to order a plain bagel. The App: Currently more buggy than a Florida swamp in July. The Wait: I once waited 20 minutes for a black coffee while five employees stared at a toaster like it was a Monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey. The Institutional Signal Analyzing the recent "Large Signals" and movements from high-frequency bettors in the fast-food space, the data is grim. Insider knowledge suggests the "order accuracy" metric has plummeted while "syrup-to-water" ratios are being manipulated to pad margins. The "Banana Puddin' Cloud Latte" is a massive distraction—a classic pump-and-dump scheme for your taste buds. The Verdict It’s a 2 out of 5. I’m only giving the second star because the hash browns are still inexplicably addictive, even though they come in a bag that looks like it was run over by a delivery truck. Instruction: Do not buy the seasonal lattes. They are a "bad bet" for your health and your wallet. If you must go, stick to the sourdough breakfast sandwich—it’s the only item with a high enough "profitability" margin for your hunger to justify the 15-minute wait.

The girl in the window today at 1pm on March 29th has absolutely terrible customer service & doesn’t need to be the face of a drive thru or in somewhere working to “serve others”. My card was locked she went to give it back to me and I already had it in my hand and she yanked it back talking about it declined so I said I’d unlock it and she didn’t even respond shut the window and when she reopened it I said I would just come inside & pay cause her attitude was nasty.

Cozy place to sit and eat. Love the food, amazing. The one problem is service. When I ordered my donuts I knew they had some left cause I saw them. So I was very disappointed that they filled a dozen box with my donuts that I ordered before the box order came in. They also didn't originally give us our donuts and I had to go up and ask which is when they were filling the box so if they gave us our donuts at the right time we would have had our actual donuts. While we were eating the workers were talking to each other and we heard multiple swear words come out of their mouth which is something I don't think should ever happen with customers.
