  my server today was Jackson from the Inception. He was not very pleasant. I stated what I was ordering. He stood there with a blank stare. I had to ask him again. He put food in the bowl and then dumped it out and kind of just stood there again with a blank stare when I instructed him on what I wanted, he said to me, that's not what you asked for. He then proceeded to ask me what protein I wanted. I told him, I wanted extra. He stated, it would be an extra charge. I told him that's fine. I asked for another serving which I was still fine with paying the extra charge he statedwell, I don't know if I can do that." I opted for not getting the extra serving. He also did not give me the complimentary pita bread that comes with every order. I asked twice, he left the cash register as if to get the Pita. And never came back with it. Overall, my experience was unpleasable and this is not the experience that I've had in the past. I did speak with the team Lead Khalil he was extremely pleasant and explained to me that Jackson was new, and he was new to the cashiering and he may have been nervous.I understood, but still was unhappy with the service because even being nervous yes.Not a reason for poor customer service..

  I want to recognize Khalil and Eli for providing exceptional customer service at Kava. Both of them were welcoming, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. Their positive attitudes and attention to customers really stood out. They’re both great representatives of Cava and definitely deserve recognition!

  Khalil should absolutely NOT be a team lead here or anywhere for that matter after trying to serve my son and I the most burnt piece of salmon. Not to mention his attitude was also the worst. Please hire a better staff here….This is a great location I spend a lot of money here, but the service is terrible!

  I like the food but this one worker named jaylene has the NASTIEST ATTITUDE. I would visit more often if she wasn't there. So I make sure I go on the days she isn't. Ridiculous! A customer shouldn't have to do that. Well cava hire people that actually want to be in customer service. Do better!

  I am a 70 year old diabetic and happened to want some of Cava’s delicious fare….. the inept and awful Ian who was the first employee that I encountered, started my order…. I ordered the spicy chicken avocado curated pita, no avocado(oh well)….. the pita was started and left there. I ordered the salmón strawberry sesame, there was no brown rice, so I said Ican I get the bit of brown rice and add in some lentils? He said no! I told him I would wait…. 5 mins turned into 10 mins….. I saw the cook get the rice out and went back to jolly Ian who through all this waiting he couldn’t my order, but hesomehow managed to have a good laugh over the situation with both customers and fellow employees….. once I finally got past Ian, the next person serving informs me that the salmon is not ready!!! By now my husband’s pita was made and was just sitting there! I was very shaken because of the ineptness and what seemed to be a joke to all employees specially our jester of the place Ian. Not one sorry for this mess and your inconvenience…. As a matter of fact I asked for a manager and here comes another senseless and without any empathy manager, Lupe…. After telling her what was still going on, she told me that he is just a very happy,funny guy and that he was not making fun! Lupe told me to go sit down because I was not looking well!! Yes Lupe that happens to us diabetics, we shake don’t look good and almost pass out.! She left and not one sorry either. Finally instead of eating my meal, I decided to write this. I do have to say that 2 of the workers at the end of this terrible ordeal, were actually nice and asked to bring my tray to my table…. I said no, because I still had not paid and my husband came to get it…. By the way the shaking and blood spike subsided thanks to my God and some blueberries. Unbelievable!!!!
