- MGMicah Guy2 days ago1.0I am extremely disappointed with our experience at this location. My husband ordered lunch for us, and unfortunately, the food was horrible. To make matters worse, when he placed the order, the staff member told him that the kale apple slaw was not available as a side option and that we could only choose chips, an apple, or a banana. He ended up ordering the apple slaw as a side, but what we received was an extremely small portion. Clearly, the website shows that kale apple slaw is available as a side substitute, so the information provided by the staff was confusing and inconsistent with what is advertised. Between the poor food quality, the lack of clear information, and the disappointing portion size, this experience was unacceptable. We expected much better and will definitely think twice before ordering from this location again. Management needs to address both the food quality and the customer service to ensure customers receive what is advertised and what they pay for.

Not the expected delays during peak times, this location is slow period! Specifically, the two females here. They both have horrible attitudes and are extremely rude, no one is forcing them to work here so why operate with the chip on your shoulder! My last encounter (yes last bc I wound be patronizing again), sealed the deal. I believe this was a manager at the location, she handed my order to another customer when the gentleman working let her know that wasn’t her order, it was my order. As I approached the counter to grab the order I asked the manager if she could repeat the order…She smacked those lips, shrugged those shoulders and began talking out the side of her mouth saying “I’m meaaannnnn”… It’s always a LOT going on at this location, what was so difficult in just repeating the order?! And why do I as the customer need to verify! This is something the employees should be doing BEFORE just handing out orders. No? I’ve been very patient with this location as the males are pleasant to work with and it’s near my local gym. Replace those two females immediately, keep the food preparation consistent!, hire a few more ppl and re-train the entire staff and I promise you’d see a turnaround in profit, until then… Tropical Cafe, you’ve lost a customer!
