  Delicious brisket, pintos, and cole slaw. The ribs are always tender and meaty & the hot bbq sauce is good.

  Stopped by Baby Back Blues BBQ and was impressed to see the recent expansion. The dining room is now about twice the size, giving guests plenty of room to enjoy a meal, and they’ve added slot machines for those looking for a little entertainment after dinner. As for the food, they continue to deliver what has made them successful for years. * Ribs: Moist, tender, and delicious. * Cole Slaw: Sweet and flavorful. * Cucumbers: Crisp and refreshing. * Pickles: Garlicky enough to keep you reaching for another. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the experience reminded me why consistency matters so much in the restaurant business. It’s one thing to be good once. It’s another to be good year after year. Baby Back Blues has built a loyal following by doing the basics well, serving quality food, and staying true to what brought people in the first place. A great example of a local restaurant growing without losing its identity. Worth the stop if you’re in the Joliet area.

  I've been to a lot of BBQ restaurants and have been critiquing them. I've only had the brisket sandwich with corn on the cob and cucumber salad. The brisket is not bad but its not great either, It was definitely the best part of the meal. Low on smoke flavor and bark, but tender and juicy, lacks any substantial flavor on it's own. You have a choice of mild or hot BBQ sauce. I tried both and they were both ok, nothing special. The corn on the cob was flavorless and chewy; the cucumber salad was overwhelming with vinegar, but i love vinegar and this was even too much for me. I would need to try everything in order to give a full assessment. The guys behind the counter were very friendly, polite, inviting, professional and make you feel comfortable. There is a ton of potential here for greatness. Just needs a little tweeking.
