  Somewhat conflicted on my rating. I frequent this location often. Selections I like are usually always stocked and staff is generally always friendly and helpful. However this one trip the other night put a bad taste in my mouth. I understand we all have bad days and make mistakes but the interaction I had the other night is what made me leave this review. If it weren't for my other positive experiences I'd be leaving 2 stars. Deli section. The gentleman that helped me, if you want to call it that, was clearly not having a good day. While ordering my meats and cheeses I was rushed. At one point after handing me the previous thing I asked for he just walked away and thought I was done for some reason. Even though I had stated I'm getting several things. Not one item weighed the amount asked for. 1 item was under 1/4lb because he said they ran out even though I could see a fresh packaged item in the cooler. The others were 1/4-1/3lb more than I had asked for. I don't mind a little over but this wasn't .12lb or less. I had asked for thin cut and received thick cut. Even after I tried correcting. One item was the wrong thing entirely which is puzzling since I had asked for the Boars Head buffalo chicken flavor (Not hard to notice if you have the right one or not due to color alone), and when stated only Boars Head products I still received another brand twice. One, two, or MAYBE even 3 of these things if were isolated would have been overlooked without hesitation. The combination made that too hard to do this time.

  I've been coming to this Jewel for a couple years now. I get my groceries every weekend. I have had absolutely no complaints about this location other than the deli department. It's visibly understaffed and a chaotic mess. Anytime I go there, employees are arguing with one another or arguing with another customer. They don't use the ticket system. What takes one person to slice something in 10mins take another person 1hr. At least one employee is avoiding helping out with the large crowds of people waiting and is pretending to be busy doing something else in the back. No communication to one another or to the customers. Today I was very close to walking out with out a single thing of groceries. Please clean up your deli department and get the proper staffing.

  Manager makes rude comments to customers and walks around the store carrying a small lock box.

  Staff that work the self checkout and customer service desk are very controlling, rude, and lazy. They're so quick to deny you what you need, or just plain rude and very inattentive all the time. The rest of the staff is decent. Never coming back here again.
