  We love this place. This is our go to for good Italian food. We like the pick your pasta, sauce and ingredients as well as the linguine vongole. We are disappointed their sister location in Kildeer closed. Service is always great as is the atmosphere.

  Very disappointed, very low quality food/price ratio. Ordered a parm chicken with pasta, very disappointing lacking the quality i would expect for the price. Also the charcuterie board was very disappointing, only burrata cheese with flavorless tomatoes, basil leaves with the stem, not ready to be consumed, a big disappointment overall. While the waiter was nice, it had too many tables to serve and was hard to get him to come.

  If you are looking for a cozy place to share a meal with friends and family, large party or small...Giannis is a super choice! There is something on the menu for everyone. Sit at a table or at the bar where so many regulars love to eat! Also try their unlimited mimosas brunch! It truly is unlimited. Your glass is never empty! The service is always good. You can count on having a great meal and a great time with servers who have been there a long time! Give Giannis a try! You won't regret it!

  Oh my gosh I love Gianni’s You must try the Pear martini Their bread is beyond compare. The olive oil “Italian butter” which I affectionately call goopy goop is addictive. So is the tomahawk pork chop. Their menu offers so many choices. It’s made fresh! Service is always fabulous. Oh my gosh! The carrot cake was the best I’ve EVER had. And I’ve had a lot. We were able to split it three ways and I still took some home. The ambiance feels like you are in Tuscany. I only wish they were open for lunch. I totally forgot to take pictures but I have provided some from their website. Sorry

  I used to live in Deer Park and often ate at Gianni's there; then came the Covid restrictions followed by it's closure; so sad. There is never a bad meal or bad experience at Gianni's! The chicken cacciatore is fantastic--I'm addicted. Sadly, prices have risen to the point that eating there (at the Palatine location) has become an infrequent luxury. Now I order take-out on occasion as it's less expensive than dining out.
