I ordered through the app while in the car because it showed a 3-minute wait. The app confirmation stated 5-10 minutes, but we ended up waiting 22 minutes inside!My order number was 15. When I walked up to the counter, the employee pointed at the grill, claiming my food was being made. I stood there for 6 minutes, only to hear them call numbers 16, 17, and 18. During this time, the staff were just standing around and talking to each other; no burgers were actually being made. When I looked at them, they completely ignored me. I had to step up and speak up for myself again. They had completely forgotten my order and only started cooking it after my second complaint.To make matters worse, despite the long wait, the food wasn't even hot. It was a massive disappointment compared to the Bolingbrook location, where the food is always fresh and hot.The African American female employee with a long, large braid who served me was incredibly rude. I never would have thought that in a restaurant with good reviews, I would be treated this way. I am certain her attitude was because I selected a $0 tip on the app. This is a self-service restaurant, just like McDonald's. I am not responsible for paying the employees' wages, and tips should be reserved for sit-down restaurants with table service. Ignoring a mother with a toddler because of a tip selection is shameful. I will not be returning.

Does Five Guys offer gluten-free options?
The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. In Canada, our Poutine Gravy condiment also contains gluten. All of our sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs and the veggie sandwich, are available without a bun via our wrap or bowls.

Why does Five Guys have peanuts for free?
Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
What is the best way to reheat leftover fries?
Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
Also, give those leftover fries a try as hash browns, home fries, or even as the filling in an omelet.
