  I gave the food one star because I never had the opportunity to try it. I gave the service one star, and honestly, it didn’t even deserve that. I gave the atmosphere one star because I never had the opportunity to experience it. Here’s what happened: Today, a group of friends and I were riding by when I mentioned that I had never been to this establishment. My sister suggested that we stop in. Someone in our group asked whether reservations were required, so I decided to go inside to find out. A gentleman and a woman who were ahead of me went inside and were immediately seated. Another gentleman and woman appeared to know the gentleman working at the counter; they greeted each other, shook hands, and exchanged pleasantries. Then it was my turn. I stood at the counter for at least 20 seconds. I know this because I literally counted to 20 in my head to keep myself from becoming frustrated. During that entire time, neither the gentleman nor the woman standing at the counter acknowledged me. No greeting. No “Hello.” No “How can I help you?” Nothing. Then the cook came out, and the two employees immediately began speaking directly to him. At that point, I walked out. As I was leaving, I heard them saying, “Ma’am, ma’am, ma’am.” At that point, I chose not to respond. After being completely ignored while standing right in front of them, I no longer had any interest in being acknowledged. I want to be very clear: I was not asking for special treatment. I was simply expecting the basic courtesy of being acknowledged as a customer. I will never spend a dime at this establishment, and neither will the ladies who were with me. That is unfortunate because I had never tried the food and was genuinely willing to give the restaurant a chance. What makes this experience especially disappointing is that, in a world where racial tensions already exist, I believe we should be doing better—especially within our own communities. As Black people, we should be able to walk into a Black-owned or Black-operated establishment and feel welcomed, respected, and acknowledged. I sincerely hope this establishment takes a moment to reflect on how customers are greeted and treated. No one should have to stand at a counter and feel invisible.

  Tati was the best today me and my friend came In and we sat down she came right over I had a watermelon peach margarita n my friend had a blackberry watermelon margarita and then drinks was so good. We ordered our food it came out exactly how we ordered it and very fresh and good. The vibes there was great and the music was on point. Her and the other bartender having a bday party next week we may slide through but if we don’t Happy Birthday to both of you ladies you’ll libras and me and my friend that was there are both Scorpio’s , Go check this Harold’s out great service, drinks and good fye

  Popped in for a little “me time” after my hair appointment. Food was good and prices were reasonable. Drink was perfect blend of juice and liquor(rum punch). Ms. Love was very sweet and attentive. Will definitely be back

  Hot, fresh food. Cool drinks at good prices. Decent pours. Very friendly and welcoming crew. Very customer focused. Went there early Sunday afternoon and had a good time with some customers. Just a bunch of people enjoying some mature adult time out watching some games. First time hanging out there. Many times we order to go meals. Will drop in again just to sit, relax and enjoy the day.

  I gave only one star because of lack of loyalty to customers. I placed an order online, through their website. Upon arriving to pick up the order, I was told they were out of the items that I ordered, and that I would have to cancel the order online. There was no option for me to cancel. That was August 10th, and I have not received a refund nor a returned call from the owners, after repeated calls to the store and each time told one of the owners would call me back by the next day. I called on the day they had their two year anniversary party and spoke to B, which is one of the owners. He asked if I would allow him to call me back the next day because of the celebration and I agreed, but have yet to receive a return call. I have supported this business since they opened the Homewood store so it is very disappointing the lack of customer service and honesty from the owners. Per our conversation today, I verified with my back that a refund was issued on August 25th and not on August 11th as you stated. However, the issue is now resolved, regardless if it was not the exact dollar amount paid. Yes, you offered to pay the difference in person, but what sense would it make for me to drive to your location for a dollar and change. Nevertheless, our business transaction has finally been resolved. Thank you.
