  We had a wonderful dinner and our server Devonta was so patient, attentive, and kind dealing with our large party of kids and adults. He really is a great server and thank you for such a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back again!

  I picked up pizzas and fries for my friend, his 4y old son and myself. Been to Gios a lot and this is the first time we got a piece of plastic in our food. Be mindful. We had a toddler having fries who wouldn't look around. This isn't something we expect when carrying out on Sat night.

  Boglio brothers brought their Italian roots to the South Side back in 1974, felt like I was eating a piece of history and it paired well with the Indian Italian wedding I just attended, where pasta and paneer shared the stage in delicious harmony. The crust is buttery, the sauce is perfect, and that shallow cut? Classic Chicago keeps the slice intact while you figure out how to eat it. Back when I lived in California, we ordered frozen Giordano's pizzas in the mail and gather around at work like it was a major event. Giordano's, you beautiful mess of cheese and dough, I'll be back.

  I’m not one who complains about a restaurant but I was extremely disappointed in our experience tonight. I physically went into the restaurant to make a reservation and pre-order pizzas for a time later that evening. The reservation was at 7:15 and the pizzas would be ready by 7:30. We get there on time, the waiter was awesome and took drink and appetizer orders. We wait 45 mins and I finally ask about our pizza. Instead of having it ready by 7:30, they put the order in at 7:30. The manager was kind and gave us a discount. Then, when the bill came (which was only a handheld device and the page given to me was what to add for tip and my signature). I could not see the itemized list and was not given a paper copy to see that gratuity had already been added nor was I told by the server. I only noticed it after I asked for a paper copy and reviewed it in the car. So, I added a very nice tip on top of what was already added. I’m super disappointed with two big errors tonight at this location.

  ⭐️ The Worst Experience We’ve Had at Giordano’s on 8/09/2026 around 7pm We arrived around 7:00 PM with our family of 6. We were told the wait would be about 10 minutes. After waiting for 30 minutes, we asked about our table, and it seemed like they had forgotten about us. We even saw people who arrived after us being seated before us. Eventually, we were seated, but then we waited another 30 minutes without anyone coming to take our order. Two employees eventually came by, and one of them apologized and told us that he didn’t know anyone had been assigned to our table. After all of that, we waited another 30 minutes before someone finally took our order. We decided to give them another chance and ordered everything together. Then we waited approximately 45 more minutes for our pizzas to arrive. When the food finally arrived, nobody apologized or even checked on us. They also didn’t ask if we needed more drinks, which is pretty important when you’re eating pizza with a family of 6. The most disappointing part was the lack of communication, organization, and customer service throughout the entire experience. I understand that a restaurant can be busy, but having to wait this long at every step while watching other customers who arrived after us get served was extremely frustrating. We came with our family to enjoy a nice dinner and decided to give the restaurant a second chance despite the terrible start. Unfortunately, the experience just kept getting worse. We will not be coming back. Very disappointing experience.
