  I have been a Jewel shopper for decades and have basically been quite satisfied. Within the last year I’ve relied on the Jewel delivery, Fresh Pass service. My complaint is when a shopper tells me something is out of stock when I know for a fact that is IN stock. This has recently happened twice. I ordered salmon fillets from the seafood counter. Coincidentally, my daughter was physically in the store and verified that the seafood counter was fully stocked. Why is my shopper telling me otherwise? Is it because they don’t want to wait to be served? I don’t understand!!

  I shop at jewel. But I'll never shap there again. I walk in the produce. Department was horrible. There were holes everywhere. Everything looked old. It never has anything you want when you go in there. They're always out of everything. I ended up leaving my cart and walking out. I'll shop at pete's or marianos.For now on by the way the meat department sucks also they have nothing but garbage meat and the dairy is always out of specialty eggs, hard boiled eggs.

  Shopped here for over 50 yrs. Store is currently on a downhill slide. Shelves and particularly produce aren’t stocked until noon. Price tags for weekly sales- same. Quite often can’t find items listed on sale in the store at all, (not just an empty shelf). Often items like bottled drinks are just piled on the floor near the butcher’s section which is seldom manned.

  I was extremely concerned by the food handling practices I observed involving Jose. On multiple occasions, I witnessed him wiping his nose with his bare hands while preparing food and then continuing to handle food without washing his hands or changing gloves. This falls well below the basic hygiene standards that customers should reasonably expect from any food establishment. Proper sanitation is essential to protecting public health, and these practices significantly undermined my confidence in the cleanliness and safety of the food. I sincerely hope management addresses this matter promptly and reinforces appropriate food safety procedures with all staff.

  I’ve shopped at this store over 13 years living in EP. I bought groceries online last Tuesday for a Wednesday pickup. The shopper completed the order Wednesday and they were very courteous which is the only reason I didn’t give them one star. Other shoppers give old produce at times. However, this time I received rotten ground turkey. I picked it up Wednesday and cooked it Thursday. The meat was rotten so I threw it out the skillet. I came home Friday from work to maggots. I called back and spoke with Marcus who told me I shouldn’t have put the meat in the garbage. I replied no, you shouldn’t have sold old meat. He proceeded to laugh!!
