  Going to write about an experience I previously had here 3 years ago. The absolute out-of-his-mind manager here, Marty Keating, might be one of the worst managers of a jewel I've ever see with his creepy relationship with an employee, Maria Z. I used to go here all the time till this associate threw my bags in my car in a fit of anger and called me a ret**d b***h under her breath. I hadn't said anything rude to her and she attacked me. I told an employee about this, only for them to explain thats how Maria is. I couldn't believe Marty would allow an employee like this. I never wanted to come back again. I truly believed this problem would have been solved by now after 3 years of avoiding this store. Unfortunately, I was very wrong. I walked in a few days ago filled with hope for a better change at this jewel. Only for me to see Maria working here still. I politely asked her where cornmix is. And she rolled her eyes and said "oh my god, it's the aisle over". I was in disbelief. For Marty to keep having this associate work here, upsets me and makes me question what kind of place is this jewel. I will not be coming here again and I will make sure people know about the horrible place this place is.

  I am extremely disappointed with the behavior I have repeatedly experienced from an employee named Maria. Almost every time I come to this location for pickup, she has a nasty and disrespectful attitude toward customers. I have personally witnessed her yelling at customers who have difficulty speaking English and aggressively slamming bags down with customers’ food inside. She has even yelled extremely loudly at her own coworkers, to the point where it is completely unnecessary, disruptive, and uncomfortable for customers to witness. This does not appear to be an isolated incident, but rather an ongoing pattern of unprofessional behavior. This is completely unacceptable behavior from someone working in customer service. What is even more concerning is that store management seems to allow this behavior to continue without addressing it. At this point, I believe Jewel-Osco needs to seriously investigate the situation and determine why this conduct has been allowed to continue. I intend to escalate my concerns to corporate/HR and other appropriate channels if necessary. Customers and employees should be treated with basic respect, regardless of what language they speak. This situation needs to be addressed immediately.

  Shopping online is a necessity for me as I'm handicapped and 82 years old. My experience with Jewel at 95th and Pulaski is terrible. They make a habit out of over an hour late deliveries. I have a delivery window from 10-12 pm and at 11:10 am, they have not even started shopping my order. I know when they do, about 1/4 of the order will be out of stock. Sometimes I get a good shopper and sometimes someone who just doesn't care. I'm very unhappy with the service this store gives me as a loyal customer for years now. I only stay with them as the devil you know is better than the one you don't know. It is not acceptable to have over an hour late deliveries and not knowing if you'll get what you ordered. Next stop is a letter to Albertson's Board of Directors. I'm fed up.
