  Stopped in here to get some donuts Friend of mine got The Alaskan donut and Long John I ended up with two Bavarian cream and one Long John was a little disappointed they do not put custard in their long johns but man it was still good. Really loved The Bavarian cream donuts.

  Huck Finn Restaurant in Oak Lawn brings back so many memories. I was first introduced to it over 20 years ago by a friend’s family, and over the years I’ve also gone there with relatives. It’s one of those classic spots that has remained familiar and comforting through the years. The food is simple, hearty comfort food that always seems to hit the spot, and the atmosphere still carries that warm, old-school diner feeling that’s becoming harder to find today. Walking in almost feels like stepping back into a slower, more relaxed time. A very nostalgic place with a cozy hometown charm.

  My wife actually introduced me to Huck Finn’s, and I’m really glad she did 😊🍽️ They make some seriously tasty pancakes 🥞😋, fluffy and delicious every time! But what’s great is they also have a big variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so there’s always something for everyone. Even though it takes us close to an hour to drive there 🚗⏰, it’s honestly worth every minute. The food, the portions, and the overall experience make the trip feel totally justified 👍✨ It’s definitely one of those places we keep coming back to!

  I have been going to Huck Finn for a while now and it has honestly become one of my favorite go to spots. Every time I walk in I feel welcomed and taken care of which makes such a difference. The staff is always so friendly and attentive and you can tell they genuinely care about the experience you are having. I usually switch between the biscuits and gravy or a waffle with strawberries, and both are consistently so good. The biscuits and gravy are comforting and filling, and the waffle with strawberries is the perfect balance when I want something a little sweeter. The food always comes out quickly, and you can tell they keep things consistent, which I really appreciate. It is also a great place for families, which makes it even better. It is very kid-friendly and has a comfortable, easygoing atmosphere that works for everyone. On top of that, there is plenty of parking which makes the whole experience even more convenient. Overall, I have never had a bad experience here, and it is one of those places I find myself coming back to again and again. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a reliable spot with great food and even better service.
