HUGE bowls! Definitely worth the price!
Itried the mixed sharawma bowl- chicken and rice with all the toppings plus hummus, and an order of falafel. Very large portions and delicious!!! Had some for lunch at work and the rest, my boyfriend and I shared for dinner. It was fantastic hot and fresh and still just as delicious cold for dinner!
I highly recommend!

The restaurant is exceptionally clean and the shawarma is absolutely excellent However what truly elevated the entire experience was the delightful demeanor and courteous service provided by YASMIN at the cashier She is incredibly well spoken remarkably cheerful and possesses a high level of politeness that makes guests feel genuinely welcomed from the very first minute An employee with such an exemplary professional approach is undoubtedly a significant asset to the establishment👍❤️
I will never return to this restaurant after what I witnessed during my recent visit. While waiting for my food after ordering, an African American couple walked in and began looking up at the menu. The woman taking orders behind the counter immediately looked them up and down, leaned over to whisper something in a different language to another employee, and he turned to look at the couple before they both started laughing at them.
The couple was focused on the menu and didn’t notice, but it was incredibly rude, unacceptable, and unprofessional behavior. Treating customers with such blatant disrespect behind their backs is a clear indicator of how this business views its patrons. I cannot in good conscience support an establishment that acts this way.

Really nicely adorned restaurant. The food is quite decent although, I did not care for their falafel which was too dense. The plating was also very well done.
The one thing that bothered me tremendously was that one of the workers (older woman) working behind the counter, presumably serving food with other younger workers, openly ate food, not with a fork but hand to mouth while I sat there eating my lunch. Then she proceeded to pick her teeth with her fingernails, right there behind the counter in front of the open food. I saw her leave the counter to go to the restroom, and I thought, "hopefully she is in there washing her hands". But when she came back, there she went again, picking her teeth.
I try never to write bad reviews, but this lack of sanitation, health and safety was so disturbing to me. If I hadn't seen that the young man was the one that prepared my plate and I thought it could have possibly been this woman, I would have thrown out my lunch and left.
The management needs to better train their employees. Although, due to the age difference between this woman and toe other employees, I'm hoping SHE isn't the manager.
Last night we went to baba saj after a long tiring day, yesterday l. First we left from Kalamazoo, Michigan in the morning. Second we got really stuck at the traffic in I-94, we then barely arrived at Chicago O hare airport, to drop off grandpa because of his flight, after all that we got really tired and stopped by Baba Saj. (This one not the 24 hour one)
The vibe was so amazing, the workers, especially sister Yasmin she treated us very nice, the fountain, patio was beautiful, and the indoor was amazing with design, and the music goodness they were playing. Between 8pm and 11 pm yesterday we were there enjoying good time
We the order 3 shawarma plates and then one veggie plate. Oh boy it was finger licking 👍👍👍. Only one thing for shawarma I like to recommend is next time for other customers I would recommend not putting too much pickles but rather little bit so that the taste doesn't get bitter. My dad and my grandma didn't liked it very much cause they love spicy food but of course alone me loves whatever is served here. Just the pickles for next time put little bit not too much.
Overall I'mma say 9 or 8.5/10 for the food.
Shout out to sister Yasmin for doing good service, kindness and gratitude towards everyone including travelers.
Sincerely,
Muhammad Ibrahim from Kalamazoo, Michigan
