  Our experience at RH Rooftop was not one that I was expecting. We were recommended this resturant for it's food, location, and design and it did not live up to our expectation. Despite having a reservation placed well in advance for a large party, we still waited an hour before being seated. The hostess was very short when we asked for an update after a half hour of waiting and told us our table was not ready with no estimated timeframe. Two parties of similar sizes were sat before we were and it was not a great host experience. Our waitress did not check on our table regularly due to the size as she checked the smaller parties in her section first before coming to check on our party. Our table had only water and we were constantly having to ask for refills. Our dishes were decent but the prices for the portions and presentation did not seem appropriate. The lobster roll seemed like it was missing most of the lobster and was a slice of toast with some lobster on top. The chicken was good but the roasted potatoes that came with it were underseasoned and bland. Our table ordered several orders of truffle fries and had to ask several times for the truffle sauce as it was not presented with the fries. Overall, this is a great space for smaller parties but not ideal for large parties.

  listen i love this place, well i used to, until i don’t know WHO thought of this stupid idea to stop breakfast/brunch on weekdays, as a twice a week maybe more customer myself i wont be attending at all anymore, weekends are too packed and not worth it to enjoy breakfast! i speak of many peers around me as well

  We waited for awhile. People came after us. Although we reserved a time, people were served before us. When I asked why were people going ahead of us, they claimed it was based on the number of seats. We finally left after 30 min. What’s the point of having to reserve if you get other people seated before you?

  Fantastic atmosphere and great service, but the food was a major disappointment for our Mother’s Day celebration 5/9/26. Most of our dishes, including the steak frites , the chicken sandwich and sides (broccolini and fries), arrived cold and overcooked. While the burgers and lobster roll were enjoyable, the rest of the meal lacked the freshness we expected.

  Beautiful interior, great for a special occasion and taking pictures! Didn’t know what to expect food wise but everything I had was delicious (salmon, lobster roles, shrimp, fries). Of course a bit pricey since it is a fancy restaurant. Definitely reserve ahead of time, weekend reservations get booked quick. My one thing is the staff was not considerate. For one, the waitress was taking away our plates of food before we were even finished without asking (if I’m paying so much for food I’m going to eat all of it..). Also, it’s such a beautiful place, so my friend and I were taking photos at the front, and one of the staff members told us they don’t allow flash photos, which I thought was a little weird considering a lot of people go there mainly for pictures, but what really annoyed me was upon leaving I saw other girls taking flash photos, and no one said anything to them. Also, I brought a very small cake for my friend to cut. The staff asked if they wanted us to have them cut it, but they charge a $25 fee, so I kindly declined. They still offered to refrigerate the cake and bring it out, but when they brought it out they took away all our plates and cutlery and didn’t bring new ones… they asked again if we wanted them to cut it for the fee, I said I can cut it myself since it was a bento cake, they refused to give me a knife. I even asked for a butter knife or a fork even, they said they would have to charge me, so I just took my cake back home. Don’t understand why they couldn’t just give me a fork, the cake was literally 2 servings, could have been eaten with a fork. I’ve been to other nice restaurants and brought my own small cake and the staff has given me plates and forks without me even asking. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with how the staff was treating my friend and I. Makes me hesitant to go back. Perhaps I would go here again for the food and ambiance but definitely not for the service. If I’m going to such a nice resturaunt I expect the staff to be considerate.
