You pizza snob are gonna kill me for this. I understand it’s a smaller chain restaurant, but the Chicago Tavern-style pizza was Really good On Sunday morning as soon as the my opened at 11 AM. Wasn’t crowded at all. They have a back room for banquets for parties, looks like they have a baby shower back there. Service was Attentive and good. No issues with service. We ordered two large pizzas. One was cheese and the other one was pepperoni. The taste and the flavoring was good and the crust was tavern style good. I would’ve liked to have my pizza overcooked a little, but I forgot to ask for it. So that’s my situation. Each having a soft drink and two pizzas dough came out to $53 or so and if I’m in the area again, looking for a restaurant atmosphere I would definitely come back here For the pizza snobs, Don’t knock it until you try it. Just try it.

We actually heard about this restaurant from a random person on the street who told us they had much more unique deep dish pizzas compared to the classic famous Chicago spots, so we decided to give it a try. When we first arrived, even though we had a reservation, it still took a while for us to get seated. They were obviously understaffed, and the service was really slow overall. We waited quite a long time before anyone came to our table to take our order, and when someone finally did, they apologized and mentioned that our table wasn’t even part of their section, but they would still help us. For appetizers, we ordered the Bruschetta, which was absolutely amazing, honestly one of the best I’ve had. After that, they brought us another dish that we never ordered. We let them know and they took it back, but we noticed the same thing happening to nearby tables too, so it seemed to be a pretty common issue. The deep dish pizza itself was good, but I wouldn’t say it’s the best deep dish in Chicago. There are definitely better places out there. Finally, after we got home from the restaurant, we realized they had also charged us for the incorrect item they brought by mistake. We had to call them to get it removed, but to their credit, they apologized quickly and refunded the charge right away.

They have a great variety of options and and so far each have been awesome. To me, their Neopolitan style pizza is the best option they have. That isn't to say their pasta or burgers are bad. Their pizza is just great. It has fun vibes and is always a great place to go. Definitely worth checking out.

We are staying at a hotel nearby and ordered food to pick up, the flavors were good but overall disappointed. My son is sick so we ordered him a BOWL of chicken noodle soup and wish I would have taken a picture before he drank it, it came in a small cup that was half full for $7.50 it maybe had 2 tablespoons spoons of noodles, he said it tasted good and was hot but it was literally less than a cup of soup that was mostly broth. We had the ceasar salad that was good but was mainly just the green tops without the hearts of the romaine and did not come with any cheese. My daughter just had the garlic knots which she said was good except the middle was like raw dough and she had to spit it out and did not eat more than one. Our pizza was good but when we opened the box it was folder over on itself which was not from our transportation. There was so much potential as the flavors were good but also would never return unless we sat down to eat in restaurant. Eating out is not cheap these days and you would think restaurants would pay more attention to quality to encourage people to return. Like I said the flavors were good but definitely did not get what we paid for.

My husband, our friends, and I discovered this restaurant on TikTok and were eager to experience it firsthand. We began with a thin-crust cheese pizza as an appetizer, which, regrettably, was rather disappointing; it lacked flavor and reminded us of a frozen pizza. The garlic knots were pleasant, though not exceptional. The sizzling shrimp offered a delightful taste, but the portion size was quite small. Both of our husbands ordered spaghetti and meatballs, and they found the meatballs to be rather dry and lacking in flavor, while the sauce was bland and unappetizing. My friend and I both opted for the chicken parmesan, which we found to be delicious, although the spaghetti noodles were notably thick and overcooked. The dish was plated tableside, but two different waiters performed this so quickly that we were unable to capture it on video. The drinks, however, were absolutely delightful and proved to be the highlight of our visit. Our server was kind, but experienced some difficulty hearing us, requiring us to repeat our orders three times per person. Despite it being only 9PM, with the restaurant closing at 10PM, staff consistently approached our table to remove items, even our water glasses, giving the impression that they were closing imminently. The entire experience felt very rushed, and it was, unfortunately, quite unpleasant. They also impose a 3% service fee, which they explicitly state is not a gratuity. This seems rather unprofessional. We do not plan to visit again.
