  This location remains to be one of my favorite locations to dine at! From the great food and drinks, and very relaxed and soothing atmosphere. The service is always good. I had a great server named Dana, who was very attentive whenever I needed anything. And the manager Claire is always great to interact with. Creating fun conversation, and making sure everyone is being taken care of. I look forward to my next visit!

  Great food with a wide variety of appealing choices. The burgers, Sea Bass, and the BBQ Bison Meatloaf are fantastic. The burgers of choice in my family are the PB&J burger (both of my boys love it) and I am a huge fan of the Black & Blue Burger. We also enjoy the CRISPY wings, the deviled eggs, and the Inside Out Quesadilla for starters. Oh and if you are a bacon fan (Uh, who isn't?) the Bacon Candy is so good, I could eat it everyday (but moderation is key). I really appreciate the four curated table condiments they bring you as well, I love the mustard on the Loco Moco! I must say that the take home, oven ready TV Dinners are a great choice and you won't be let down. I personally recommend the lemon chicken and the pot pie. I was also astonished at how fresh and wholesome the doggie dinners are as well, when you want to give your dog a treat, this is really good enough for any human (of course I tried it, myself, because it is real food not processed slop). Finally, if you want the best value menu in town go with the Fireside Favorites, this would be a great way to try the Loco Moco fried rice and the BBQ Bacon Ranch Burger. Great rotating beer selections and there is always a wonderful choice for Hazy IPAs (our favorite is Liquid Blanket IPA). The Huckleberry Haze is also a must try. As a member of the "Beer Club" this is not only a great value but also a unique opportunity to try new beers and learn about a wide range of other brews. Great crafted cocktails with original ideas and unique but delicious ingredients. The Watermelon Margarita is amazing with the Tajin Rim. I also really enjoy the Sangrias, when we go for brunch! All of this said, the best part about Lazy Dog is the top-notch service. You can easily tell, they have enough staff and that they place an emphasis on training the staff to give you an enjoyable service in which you actually feel appreciated as a guest!! This is a rare experience all around. This is a chain restaurant, but it is only one of two or three restaurants in our town that feel like a "Cheers" experience (IYKYK). The new beer pack just dropped so I will be making a reservation for this Sunday for an incredible meal and my take home 8 pack with the signature glass and beer pamphlet/mini magazine.

  Meh, food was ok. Not bad, not great just average. I don't recommend upgrading your fries to the umami flavor, it's $2.50 for a sprinkle of Japanese flavoring and a tiny cup of dipping sauce. Portions are average. We sat outside, which was partially enclosed but they didn't have the heat on, it was a little too chilly. Inside seemed very loud, like we would not have been able to have a conversation, and it wasn't overly busy. If I had to say what would have made the visit worth 5 stars, it would have been to have the fireplace on in the outside seating area both for heat and ambience, and maybe for the portions to be a little bigger.

  The Manager Claire was very engaged and made us feel very welcome. Alex our server, bartender also, was extremely considerate, friendly, and helpful. It was our first time at the Northbrook location but it will certainly not be the last. Extensive menu, fabulous food, tremendous service, superb atmosphere, great servers, fantastic management, pet friendly, great location. You will not be disappointed folks, put this on your to do list for sure. Thank you Claire and Alex, we'll see you soon.

  What a pleasure it was re-visiting this establishment, and if I may say ; I believe it has a lot to do with the chefs & those guys behind the bar! Being seated adjacent to the bar one would assume to be waited on , but it still surprises me to this day that those kind individuals behind the bar helped the rest of the staff by taking my order. I believe his name is Alex, forgive me if I am wrong, but A BIG ROUND OF APPLAUSE TO YOU Guys for taking the initiative! Definitely will be back soon !
