The Original Pancake House was founded in Portland, Oregon by Les Highet and Erma Hueneke. Today, we’re bringing their vision of serving authentic pancakes, waffles, eggs and other traditional breakfast recipes to Normal, Illinois. We use only the best ingredients, such as 93 score butter, pure 36% whipping cream, fresh grade AA eggs, hard wheat unbleached flour, and our own sourdough starter.
We even have gluten-free and vegetarian breakfast options!

Was passing though town for the night, so I knew where I was going to breakfast the next day! Ellie our server was very kind! The food was as delicious as always! If I'm ever back in the area I'll definitely be back!

She was the one server that made our table of 12 feel special. With grace and ease and genuine kindness she handled my rowdy family like a pro. I can’t wait to revisit this magical place.
