  My son had a scheduled interview today at the Chipotle in Normal. He arrived a little early, trying to make a good impression and be responsible. When he was told to have a seat and wait, he had absolutely no problem doing so. However, the manager responded to him extremely rudely, telling him, “You don’t have any other choice. You gotta wait. I’m not gonna take you in front of somebody else.” He NEVER asked to be taken ahead of anyone. He simply arrived early for his scheduled interview and was willing to wait. What makes this even more disappointing is that he continued sitting there for more than 20 minutes PAST his scheduled interview time, and the manager never came back out to interview him, explain the delay, apologize, or even acknowledge that he was still waiting. Eventually, my son left extremely sad, disappointed, and upset. What really bothers me as his mother is that this is not a young man who is new to working or who doesn’t understand responsibility. Back home, he has held a job consistently since his sophomore year of high school, when he was just 16 years old. Now he is away at college, adjusting to a new environment and actively trying to find a job so he can continue working while attending school. We constantly tell our young people to work, be responsible, show up on time, and take initiative. He did exactly that. He showed up early, was respectful, patiently waited, and came prepared for an opportunity to work. He deserved that same basic respect and professionalism in return. If you are in a management position and interviewing college students and young adults who are trying to establish themselves in the workforce, please remember that the way you treat them matters. A simple “I’m running behind, thank you for waiting” would have been enough. Instead, he walked in excited about a potential job and walked out feeling discouraged and disrespected, without ever even being given the interview he was scheduled for. That is extremely disappointing and unacceptable.

  Horrible !!!!!it was cold. Looks like they just threw it together. no fajita vegetables. two pieces of chicken it was cold didn't have a care in the world about my food I will never eat here again and DoorDash will not do anything about it..$20 down the drain. This was the first time eating here and it was absolutely disgusting I wouldn't feed it to my dog

  The restaurant is dirty to sit in and eat at. Music too loud. No AC is on. The cash register does not show the items clearly when checking out. You are often charged incorrectly and cannot see it until after you get the receipt by then it is too complicated to fix. The employees could have better mojo.

  I've been dining here for a while now and can say what most have so far, the staff seems to care less about getting orders correct when ordering online and are very hit and miss on food being ready at the selected pick up time. I have waiting 30 mins for food before, granted I will say they were busy and understaffed it seemed ( or at least one person was actually working the line.) Food is ok most of the time when the order is made correctly.
