I usually don't write reviews, but I am writing this to let others who rely on Google reviews know about the horrifying experience at this location, so that they will be aware of what to expect, especially if they have dietary restrictions like me.
Papa Johns used to be a respected brand, but the severe lack of operational compliance and customer service at this location is highly disappointing. As someone with strict dietary requirements, I ordered a vegetarian pizza and explicitly requested a "clean cut" (using a sanitized cutter to avoid cross-contamination with meat). Despite these clear instructions, my pizza arrived contaminated with pepperoni pieces. When I brought the pizza back to the store to address this health and preference violation, the response from the front desk associate was unacceptable:
He initially refused to listen or acknowledge the mistake.
Dismissive Attitude: Once confronted with physical proof, he casually stated, "These things happen," and suggested I “simply take it out.”Complete Ignorance: He demonstrated a total lack of training regarding cross-contamination, dietary restrictions, and basic food safety etiquette. To fellow customers with dietary restrictions (Vegetarian, Vegan or Allergies):Please thoroughly inspect your food before leaving this location. There is a systemic disregard for order accuracy and dietary safety here. Simply "pulling meat off" a pizza does not fix cross-contamination.
To Papa Johns Executive Leadership & Customer Service Corporate Team:Your brand promises "100% customer satisfaction," but this location is exposing you to severe liability and alienating a massive customer base. This isn't just a minor order mistake—it is a fundamental failure of operational compliance, food handling safety, and employee training. I expect corporate leadership to investigate the management and training protocols at this branch to ensure your advertised standards are actually being enforced.

⭐ 1 STAR — HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Ordered just two medium cheese pizzas and politely asked for plates and a few peppers. The employee got angry for absolutely no reason and gave me a ridiculous amount of pepper and Parmesan packets with a terrible attitude. The picture says it all.
Completely disrespectful, wasteful, and unprofessional. Management seriously needs to address this kind of behavior. Very disappointed and definitely NEVER coming back to this location again!

I just have to leave a review for the Papa Johns in Niles because of one outstanding employee named Cristian. I come to this location frequently, and no matter how busy it is, Cristian is always working hard and providing amazing service.Today, he went completely above and beyond and made the absolute best pizza I have ever tasted in my entire life! The crust was perfect, the toppings were generous, and you could tell he genuinely cared about the quality of the food.Employees like Cristian are rare nowadays. He is a massive asset to this team, and honestly, this man deserves a major raise for his hard work and dedication. Thank you, Cristian, for always making my visits wonderful—I will definitely keep coming back!
One star is generous. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had.
I placed and paid for an online pizza order at approximately 6:15 p.m. By 7:30 p.m., nothing had arrived. After being stuck on hold, I checked my credit card account and saw that Papa Johns had charged my card and then refunded the exact same amount without ever contacting me.
When I finally reached someone at the store, he claimed my order had been sent to the wrong address and that the driver had simply left it at the door. I asked the obvious question: If the driver left it at the door, how did they determine it was the wrong address? He had no answer.
I then asked why nobody called me. His response was that they “didn’t have time” to call, so they simply refunded the order and moved on. Apparently, contacting a paying customer after losing or misdelivering their food is too much effort for this location.
After I demanded that they fulfill the order, he told me the pizza would arrive within 15 minutes. Thirty minutes later, another employee called and claimed they had absolutely no record of my order. That is obviously impossible. They charged my credit card, refunded my credit card, and the previous employee had already discussed the order and promised it was being delivered.
When I asked this employee for her name, she refused to provide it and told me she had “better things to do than worry about a single pizza order.”
That statement says everything anyone needs to know about how this location views its customers. My order may have been “a single pizza” to her, but it was my money, my time, and my family waiting hours for food that never arrived.
This was not a simple delivery mistake. Mistakes happen. This was a complete breakdown in basic competence, communication, honesty, and customer service, followed by an employee openly expressing contempt for the customer.
Avoid this location. They may take your order, charge your card, lose or misdeliver your food, quietly refund you without explanation, contradict each other when you call, and then tell you they have better things to do than deal with you.
