  Awesome food! Great service! We went to celebrate dads birthday. Sharon (one who took our orders) & Thomas ( manager) extremely thoughtful to bring piece of cake with beautiful decorations for dad for his birthday. That was a big surprise. We ordered mixed boat platter, dosas and lamb biriyani.. everything was really tasty.. Boat platter was perfect for 6 people. Will come back again!

  We went to this restaurant expecting so high since we have always liked traditional Indian food. The 1st order was soup, the taste is ok but the serving was in a tiny bowl. It was something we never expected. Then came the fish , two small slices ( it was like 1 piece cut into half! Yes, it was small for the price). Then we also ordered veg- okra and the portion was in a small bowl again. The worst part was the Naan bread. It was dry, burnt, and tiny! Not to mention that it was breaking up like crackers! I mentioned it to the server, & they replaced it, which was nice. But the server mentioned that some people like it that way ( well then, they should have asked us first if we wanted it made that way, but they didn’t!) The restaurant decor was cool and the table set up was nice however, we went their for food because my husband and I were starving. So, the place decor didn’t really matter. We also noticed that the food was served one by one, which we could understand but how can you eat just fish alone, without the side? The fish was served first and we had to wait for the naan bread and rice that came few minutes after. It was very disappointing. The portions of the food was not enough for the price of each dish. We would have liked to come back but after that experience, we got totally turned off. The server named Sharon was a nice lady and she speaks fluent English. She was pleasant. But the food portions and the burnt Naan bread, we don’t think we’re coming back again. We wouldn’t recommend it to our family and friends.

  My family went for lunch, and we spent $90 on the food. First, we waited 40 minutes for our meal to arrive. The server was pleasant, but the real issues started when we ordered the Malabar goat biryani and were served chicken biryani instead. We informed the server and had to wait another 20 to 30 minutes. When the correct dish finally arrived, the biryani rice was overcooked and unpalatable. We told the server again, and he said he would inform the chef. In the end, we paid full price for everything, hoping they would offer a reasonable solution, but we never heard back from the chef. We will definitely not be returning. I know one bad review might not change much, but I hope this prevents other customers from having the same experience. * not Malabar goat biriyani , it was Kochi style goat biriyani

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We discovered Magic Pepper Taste of India completely by accident while leaving Walmart in Niles, and I’m honestly so glad we decided to stop by! We were just passing by, thought we’d go in and have a look, and found out they had a South Indian buffet going on. We decided to give it a try, and it turned out to be such an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious. The idli, dosa, vada and everything else we tried from the buffet tasted fresh, flavourful, and so good that it’s honestly hard to describe in words. Every single penny was worth it! ❤️ The service deserves a special mention too. It was extremely fast, and the staff were so attentive and welcoming. Even while we were eating, they came by to check on us and ask how the food was and whether everything was good. Those little things really made us feel taken care of and made the whole experience even better. And the price was another pleasant surprise.. It was only around $40 for two people and the quality of the food, the buffet excellent service, it was absolutely worth it. Sometimes the best experiences are the ones you don’t plan at all. We walked in randomly with zero expectations and walked out extremely happy and impressed. Amazing food, amazing service, great value, and such a wonderful experience overall. Definitely a well-deserved 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We will absolutely be coming back and highly recommend giving this place a try!

  I heard about this place online and shopping at the Deli4You market right by it. I decided to go try their 'Tuesday night Biryani special'. Let me tell you, that was some of the very best Biryani I've ever had. The rice was perfectly cooked, well seasoned and spicy, not oily, plenty of meat, and they gave you a Huge portion of it. It also came with a number of side items and a very nice cup of tea. The service and ambiance was welcoming and open. I couldn't have been more impressed with the food. I will Absolutely come back to try more. It's rare too have had a Biryani this good and I will be telling many more people about it.
