I'm a frequent visitor at Sweetwater in Napvl where the drinks & food are excellent. I also really appreciate the service I receive - especially from Vysh. She always greets me when I walk in and knows my drink by heart. I enjoy our short chats when I visit.

Was looking for a good matcha in the area and found this place based of reviews and I’m extremely happy with the matcha! It’s great!!! Also ordered a chai latte which I’m very picky about and I think the one is amazing!! The staff is super friendly too!

I recently saw a review for this place and the person working there. Here’s my response to them.
I’m sorry to hear that you had that experience, but I wanted to share that my experience with the same employee seems to have been completely different.
Last week, my group of friends and I drove from Chicago to Naperville and happened to stop by this coffee shop randomly while exploring downtown. The staff member you described was actually the one who helped us, and she was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable. She took time to talk with us for a few minutes, made us feel comfortable, and even recommended a few coffees since it was our first time visiting.
We ended up trying her recommendations, and honestly the coffee was amazing, easily 11/10. She came across as very kind and sweet during our visit, which made the experience memorable for us.
Sometimes people can have very different interactions on different days, but based on our visit, we experienced excellent customer service from her.

I recently visited Sweet Water for dine-in, but unfortunately had a very disappointing experience due to the service. There was a staff member (an Indian girl with brown hair) who was extremely unresponsive and came across as rude when we were trying to place additional orders. Despite multiple attempts, she did not seem interested in helping us, which made the whole experience uncomfortable.
Because of this, we ended up changing our plan from dine-in to takeout. The food itself was okay, but the service really affected our visit. I hope management looks into this and ensures better customer service in the future.
Hi, thank you for your response.
I understand and respect your point about not identifying team members by personal characteristics. Since I didn’t know her name, I used a general description only to help indicate who I was referring to—there was no intention to single anyone out personally.
However, I would like to emphasize that the main concern was the service we received. The staff member was unresponsive and came across as rude when we were trying to place additional orders, which made us feel ignored and unwelcome. Because of this, we ended up changing from dine-in to takeout, which was disappointing.
I hope this feedback is taken constructively and helps improve the customer experience going forward. I’d consider visiting again if service improves.
Thank you.
