- BBBenAug 17, 20261.0The meat manager here (Brendan, I believe) has repeatedly been rude, and I’ve also had serious concerns about the way expired meat is handled. On one occasion, I noticed meat that appeared to be expired and in poor condition. When I questioned him about it, instead of addressing my concern, he responded, “If you don’t like it, that’s not my problem.” I’ve also witnessed what appeared to be sell-by dates being altered before expired products were put back out for sale. This is extremely concerning when it comes to food safety and customer trust. This wasn’t an isolated interaction with him either. I’ve had multiple experiences where he has been unnecessarily rude and dismissive. Management should take these concerns seriously and make sure expired food is not being sold and that customers are treated respectfully.

I will be sure to tell everyone I know about my experience at Jewel. Maybe others have had the same issue and we have a bigger issue on our hand. I will be contacting your corporate office to submit a formal complaint about the harassment I received twice at this location.
