    Be wary of this McDonald’s. They do not employ enough staff to ensure timely orders and a clean environment especially considering they are collocated with a grey hound stop. I waited 30 minutes for a single drink with people who ordered after me getting served first. The dining area was covered in trash and other refuse. I would advise going to another location if possible.

    worst service ever. took 30 minutes in the drive through with a mobile order, only ordered a 6 piece and 3 cookies, and we only got a 4 piece and cold cookies. save your time, go to the other location in MTV, even if its further away.

    i placed a doordash order and i wasn’t getting any dashers and had to leave so i tried to switch it to pick up. which it didn’t allow me to do because it said “ mcdonald has already started ur order” so i called them on speaker and immediately the lady who picked up the phone was aggressively speaking as i was asking her my questions she didn’t even let me get 2 words out then yelled “it’s not her problem” and hung up. i was completely shocked then my fiancé told me to call back to ask for there name and they didn’t answer so i gave it a second and called again which when they picked up the phone they heard my voice , laughed , then proceeded to hang up again. now i understand it’s very early in the morning but if you decide to get a job at someplace and except your hours please don’t be rude to a costumer. also when my food arrive at my home i’m not sure if it was on accident or what but i was literally missing a whole meal out of a 50$ order. (not including delivery). please do better.

    A trip to McD's should be and usually is a quick process with a reliable outcome. Not today. Just traveling through looking to grab a quick bite, we went through the drive-thru during the lunch rush. The order was taken but there was some confusion with our order at the window where payment is collected. We were told that a receipt could not be provided at that time. When we proceeded to the final window, we were asked to move forward as the order was not ready yet. 15 minutes passed and we were brought out someone else's order. So, we parked and went in. That's where the chaos ensued. We ended up getting our money back due poor customer service and the unprofessionalism of the store manager Sherry. I would think if the manager was watching over the food prep process, none of this would have occurred. No one took ownership of a missed order. She needs to receive more training on how to improve processes and how to ensure a consistent service environment. To have workers in the back tell us to "come back here and make it yourself" and for the manager to not offer a simple apology and assure us that she will handle the order personally is unacceptable. At the end, we just wanted our money back. She said "that's not how that works here". We finally got the refund after 30 minutes in total. I called back to speak with her again and I was hung-up on and the phone was not picked up throughout the afternoon. I hope McDonald's management reviews customer service standards at this restaurant and gives Sherry the support she needs to run a successful lunch rush.

    Fresh review: June 7th 2026 2:16-2:46 p.m. When I came for food in a rush, on a bus with a 30 min lunch limit, I placed my order at 2:16 and waited patiently not all in the workers faces. When i noticed all those from the bus and other customers and drive thru/take out orders got their food, I went up to the counter to ask for my food the only and last person by the checkout area waiting for my food. I asked a young lady if they had order 978 after she called out a drink order. At the same time, there was another girl was at the register talking to a gentleman and told the worker I was talking to, to take over because she wasn’t on the clock. The girl I asked for my food then looked at me and ignored me and walked over to help the other gentleman. It was completely empty after that and I’m standing around looking lost and asking for my food calmly and politely. The last thing I would assume would it to be racism. I waited my turn like everyone else, paid at the kiosk, and wanted to get my food before the bus left me. I not only got a negative experience of this McDonalds location but the nearby city of Mt Vernon. I left with no food wasted my money to make sure I didn’t miss the bus. Staff needs to be taught to acknowledge and respect customers especially if they’ve been nothing but polite .we all have bad days but we all don’t have to be mean with attitudes. I hope that young lady has the day she deserves and Mt Vernon McDonalds needs to do a better job at hiring competent workers and pray over that lady so whatever disturbed spirit possess her at her job can leave her alone and she can be polite to others. God bless. I think it was my sign to stop eating McDonalds, low vibrational evil energy food. Won’t be stopping in this city ever again and don’t recommend my friends and family come here either.
